Default Laptop Issues...

Just bought a HP laptop this morning. It came with Windows 8. The old laptop I had was also running a Windows program (Vista). The problem is when I sign into my new PC, the old PC does not boot up. I assume it is due to having two laptops, with my windows username.

Is there any way I can rectify this problem to get both laptops to run, from the same location? Or would I have to create a Guest account from one of the laptops?

There is no reason that one laptop would stop the other from starting up.

I would say that if you needed to get stuff from the old laptop that you bought the new one a day too late....

Shouldn't be any issue between laptops with same username etc.
