What do you mean was a fan? Boy band music is timeless, and has more artistic merit than some believe.



I also like classic rock, blues, and good ol' rock music. I can listen to selected songs from different genres like rap, r&b, country, but I'm pretty finicky with those.

And Good Charlotte. Those guys rule.

Really I don't have a type of music I listen too. Right now in my cd player I have Johnny Cash at Fulsom Prison, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros - Global a go go, Flogging Molly - Within a Mile of Home, a Rum Runner cd and a classical album.

Seriously though, how can anyone listen to one type of music? I would go insane. Today on a rather long drive I flipped between some Cake, some Bad Religion, some Hip, Hank 3, Johnny Cash, and a collection of classical music CD.

Basically anything but new rap music... and especially that lil John.. OKAY... Whhhat!

I like lo-fi indie rock. Pretty much anything on KRS or K Records. I'm also big on the art rock and progressive rock like Deerhoof, OOIOO, and Flaming Lips

I also like punk rock music, but more of the old school variety. Not Green Day or Sum 41 kind of "punk". Stuff like the PeeChees, Devotchkas, Cop Shoot Cop, that kind of stuff. I can't stand over-produced music, especially when it's supposed to be punk.

My GF has also gotten me into the Riot Grrl kind of music like Kathleen Hanna (in all her incarnations), Team Dresch, Bratmobile, etc.
