Default Boxing Day Sales

Is anyone planning on going out on Boxing Day to look for deals? I may hit Future Shop and Best Buy early on, and see what I can buy, mainly looking for a new laptop, and possible software. It's usually pretty crazy, so I'm checking if there are any smaller electronic or computer shops that are known to have good deals on.

Yeah I checked RFD today. Saw some cheap laptops, and antivirus software...

I've sworn off physically going to stores on Boxing Day. It's not worth the hassle or insanity inducing poopstorm imo.

However, I find many of the good deals can certainly be found online or are available beyond Boxing Day itself.

My wife wants to hit the this year, I don't mind as long as we are done by noon.

I think I'd like to buy a couple of those shirts with the design on the inside of the cuff.

Online is the way to go. Lots of places have in store pickup as well.

The new goggles also do nothing.

Usually like online myself too, but we really need a new mattress and there's a couple of seemingly decent sales on (Sears, The Brick), so will probably head out, I figure those probably aren't the big popular items so hopefully will dodge the worst of it.

Though there's some good deals at Toys-R-Us too, and I have to get my kid's presents before they come back so i might go to Toys-R-Us first. Plus they have a Nerf vortex gun 50% off and I've always wanted one

I try to avoid stores altogether, never mind Boxing Day.

Best buy and future shop's online boxing day sale started ~30 minutes ago. There are some pretty good online deals for those of us who wouldn't venture into one of their stores. Got myself a new camera for over 50% off

Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed 3 are both on for $39.99 at EB Games on Boxing Day. Might pick one of those up.

Sadly for two reasons, I have to go on boxing day rather than ordering online. 1) offer is only valid in store and 2) I need it for Saturday so shipping won't work.

Thus I will be going to Bestbuy early in the morning.

I will not reveal what I want until after I buy it. I'm also thinking of getting Dishonored for $30, but I'm not totally sure yet.

3DS XL system for $150 seems like a good deal if anybody is looking for them.

I went out to fight the crowds this morning only to find Nova Scotia apparently doesn't do boxing day, as everything (even Walmart) is closed.

Looks like it's online shopping for me!

The Sunridge Best Buy was fairly dead compared to last year, about half the line up outside. The - 25 weather does that to people I suppose. Picked up three games and a external hard drive. In and out in 10 minutes.

Went to chinook for 8, got out by 10.30. Got some stuff but no mind blowing deals.

Got a 1TB HD from Memory express for $40 off. And shipping for only $5. The joys of online shopping.
