They clearly have it and are not struggling for offense. If they were to be struggling, however, it would probably due to Ward since it would be ridiculous to have as much firepower as the Heat and struggle to put up goals.

Perhaps you should realize that sarcasm isn't necessarily apparent in message board posts. Which is why this board tends to use green color text to represent it. Unlike speaking in person where your tone of voice usually gives sarcasm away.

Perhaps you should focus less on failing to be witty and try and contribute something unique and interesting.

Can anyone shed any light on what happened with Sieloff? Twitter is telling me that he got hit from behind, lost some teeth, fought someone and now everyone hates him. Care to clarify cause I'm kinda lost.

He didn't have any fighting majors his last couple games. I read an article about and incident with a Windsor fan involving a sucker punch and a chipped tooth in the past couple days (I think on TSN) but I can't seem to find it now. They may have been joking about that or maybe something happened that the scoresheet isn't showing in a recent game.

From what I can piece together from the recap on the Spitfires' website, it sounds like he laid out another guy with a big hit, and got an interference penalty (a weak call according to the write-up, but obviously that's biased). Later, it sounds like he was hit from behind and lost a couple of teeth and there was no call. When he came back, he was in a foul mood.


First Period:

13:51: @patsieloff going off for laying a hit in front of our bench, which goes wild as the call is made. Puck went right through Meighan's feet. Then Pat hit him. Call is interference. Tough call man.

Penalty killed off. Spits get a chance on a 3-on-2 as Pat joins in out of the box.

Second Period:

0:17: Pat Sieloff checked from behind by an unidentified Ranger and straight to the room when he finally gets up. I think he lost a couple chicklets. no call. They had to come do some scraping in the spot where he went down. And he hustled to the room. For all the attention this kid gets for laying out hits, you'd think they'd have an eye on how the other team responds.

Pat Sieloff is back on the bench and now on the ice. He looks in a foul mood.

Third Period:

14:44: Sieloff going off for hooking on a play that began with Sterk skating his way out of his own zone untouched....with a big figure skating style hook.

Obviously, a biased report, but it sounds like business as usual for Sieloff.

Exactly what I was wondering.

I slipped over HFboards and went into their OHL section and read both the Spitfires and Rangers topics. Rangers fans didn't even mention Sieloff and in the Spitfires topic some Spits fans were saying the hit on Sieloff was a missed call and should have been 4 minutes, then I think 1 guy said Sieloff was undisciplined tonight. No comments had "hate" in their tone.

I searched sieloff on twitter and this stuff came up. Here were a few people mentioning hatred towards seiloff. Sorry for the hyperbole everybody. We can calm down now. The crisis has been clarified.
