Yep.
1) Dress any 5 NBA players to start against the Raptors.
2) Win.

They are playing like they are waiting or te other shoe to drop. The players know a trade is oming, just not sure who.
Is it calderonn, the long tanding leader?
Is it bustiagni, the face of the franchise?
Do they bring in a good 2 and put derozan to the second unit, or a 3 an make derozan third option offensively?
This is one of tose times they need to bite he bullet and make the move now OR the coach has to Do it for them and move bustiagni to the second unit

Tonight the raptors better watch out valenciunis doesnt kick the crap out of his teammates for not passing the ball. The kid isbusting his butt and guys like derozan will refuse to give it to him open in the block, and instead take it into triple coverage for an off balance low quality attempt.

I know he is scoring but can someone explain to me why Derozan seems to be skating by without criticism?
Maybe I am listening to the wrong people and likely it has to due with how much hate there is for Bargnani but Derozan is a turnstile on defense and an incredible ball suck that makes Bargnani look like Stockton in terms of passing.
Bargnani has been terrible but I think Derozan is not far behind in terms of things wrong with this club.

WTF was that Amir? Got frustrated for no reason. Still trying to figure out what got his knickers in a bunch.

I can't figure out Amir's stupidity tonight. Maybe his carrying on personal baggage from his private life, or the coach's riding him, but he really seemed to have it in for the ref by almost forcing him to kick him out. It's the first indication of aggression I've ever seen of him, so the 5 games he'll likely get will be enough time to sort his mind out.
As for Moon's comment, I think there's definitely something to what you're saying. I've really not negatively commented about DeRozan's play this season, simply because I think it's refreshing to see somebody slash at the basket, but he's getting carried away by selfish play. It's not about learning to pass the ball, but he's gotta be sat down and talked to by a vet on the team. Who that mentor is I don't know, but he's getting awfully big-headed.

I am probably taking to much frustration out on Derozan but the comment about sat down by a vet and talked made me wonder, who is that vet that would/could do that?
Does this team have anyone like that that can sit the guys down and basically say "what the F?".
I am not trying to be anti-Euro but I don't see Kleiza, Jose or Pietrus doing it. Gray doesn't have near the role, experience or talent to do it.
Who else is there?
Lowry, Fields, Johnson are much too inexperienced to make that move.

Amir Johnson suspended one game by the NBA for his stupidity last night. After seeing that watching Sports highlights this morning I though he would be given something like 3-5 games. Guess I was wrong.

Haha, only Raps I've watched this year was that 1min clip of Amir.
I have no interest in this franchise until Coangelo is gone.

I can't believe how terrible this team is the need a big trade and tank/rebuild around Jonas. They just need to be sure to get the 4th pick at worst so they don't carry that first over another year. If they can get Wiggins in 2 years he will save the franchise as he might actually play his whole career in Toronto and apparently is one of the best prospects since Lebron was in high school

This really is the season from hell. So the latest on the team is they had some players only meeting. Apparently they all took turns yelling at Bargnani and then at Lowry. AB for lazy play. Lowry for selfish play. Poof and both are down with injuries. BC on every program you can think of in full PR mode.
Rumors galore for the Raps.
Calderon and Ross for Eric Gordon.
Calderon to the Lakers for Morris and Ebanks
Bargnani to Minny for Dwill.
Combinations of Jose and AB to Lakers and 3 way deals off of that.
Kleiza, AA, AB, AJ and KL all out with injuries for the Brooklyn game.
BC in those interviews threw everybody under the bus except of course AB.
Total disaster year for the worst team in the NBA.

The Raptors don't have to worry about not getting Wiggins next draft if they get a top 3 pick this year. Next drafts pick is still top 2 protected iirc. Doesn't look like Wiggins will slide past 2nd pick. The thing to worry about this year is that Julius Randle or Jabari Parker or another top 5 pick next year being better than whomever the get this year, Shabazz/Len/Zeller/???.
Unless you are saying that we hopefully lose this pick because next draft class is better, then I agree. But don't worry about not getting Wiggins.
Here's a decent read that tells Raptors fans to not hope for a tank this year. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebask...luck-with-that

Got tickets to tonight's game awhile ago and now I probably couldn't give them away. What a nightmare season.

Don't think I like any of those Raptor deals and would prefer the 3 way deal with the T-Wolves and Lakers if that were possible.
The Eric Gordon deal is intriguing but not sure what you would do with him and Derozan. Plus him coming back healthy next year would impact getting Wiggins, although him being injured again would help a lot in getting that 1st pick.

If they don't get Wiggins, Parker seems like the exact kind of player that the Raptors need. SF, big time winner, smart guy that is willing to sacrifice his own points to make team better. As an aside hopefully he picks Duke tomorrow.

I got tickets for the Raptors/Lakers game in January, since my brother is a big Lakers fan....was looking forward to an entertaining bout but now it looks like it will be a battle of an underachieving team and a simply terrible one

I'd be interested in reading about Colangelo's comments and the supposed shouting match between players. I'd be surprised if this did in fact happen considering they're not enemies and they have to see eachother night after night (plus shouting rarely makes people work harder). As for the trade proposals, the Gordon and Williams ones are the only ones that really interest me. The rest are players you don't build your team around. The Raps can't just deal these guys for nothing - despite this bad season, they still have value. Colangelo has to package guys to get one good player they can build around for years to come. No need to get 2 so-so players back when those two will likely not be on their team 4 years down the road.
Raps tonight with another end of 3rd/4th quarter meltdown.
