I like the idea of them skating around with the giant flag. I liked how it was so spontaneous.

so who owns the flag? it's the 'fan' who has the siren lamp and giant signage who attends all games this year.

Yup...the guy who had it was the Hockey Canada "plant", previously discussed in another thread earlier in the Games.

That guy's awesome on TV. I'd hate to sit beside him having that light flash in my eye after a goal, but on TV he's great.
Hope he gets his flag back with the team's signature on it.

I must have missed that. Was he really a "plant"? Why would Hockey Canada need to do that? It's not like there was a lack of support.

Sorry, stopped reading the thread before it was discovered, guess its the guy who's head of Dash Tours, not a plant.
Still, had tickets to every Canadian game close enough to get picked up by cameras...and been to past events.

Something I threw together for people with a sony phone... if you want a diff resolution post what you need. I edited in a dude with the canadian flag further to the left of iggy to make it look better
