Tried four times. The Flames were #25, #13, #8, and #23. When I simulated the Crosby draft I got the Flames at #1. I'm hoping my personal trend continues.

I'm really curious where Taylor Cammarata will go. Unbelievable offensive numbers, currently 32 points in 16 games in the USHL after scoring 69 in 60 last year. Played with MacKinnon at Shattuck St Mary's, outscored him in both years. Extremely small guy though ... 5'7" and 157 lbs according to eliteprospects, and therefore only #18 among USHL players in the CSS rankings. Could be this year's Gaudreau

Anyone else review Button's lists for any fast risers trying to figure out who the Flames is high on?

I've watched a few Moosehead games and found myself noticing Drouin more than Mackinnon....

after this year's draft it's certainly interesting, yeah. Anthony Mantha could be interesting, he has huge numbers in the Q this year.
Button had a chat with fans about his list on TSN.ca today. A few things I found interesting:
Question: Do you think that Drouin has the potential to go #1?
Button: I think Jonathan is a terrific prospect. He definitely has the potential to be in a discussion but at this time I still see it being a 3 player race with Jones, MacKinnon and Barkov.
Question: Why Jones over Mackinnon? Don't you think that Mackinnons start has given him a reason to be #1.
Button: I'm not looking at starts, I'm looking at what I believe to be their best NHL potential. That being said, I think it's very close between Seth and Nathan and that they are both elite players. It could come down to a team wanting a specific position in the draft. That being said, I feel Seth is the most unique defenseman I have seen since Chris Pronger. He has a complete command of the game and can impact it in multiple ways. Nathan is excellent in his own right and the difference is razor thin.
Question: What keeps Anthony Mantha out of your top 10 right now?
Button: Anthony has been one of the most impressive players I have seen this year. His development since last January has been nothing short of excellent. He is gaining confidence in his game & there is no reason to believe that he can't be in the top 10 before the end of the season. A quick note. While we debate whether a player should be in this spot or that spot, I try to group players knowing that the order could change based on various criteria. That being said, I think Anthony is a grouping from 5 to 23 and while that range is wide, it speaks to the quality of players in the draft.
Question: Who are the most "NHL ready" players from this draft year?
Button: In no particular order. Seth Jones, Aleksander Barkov for sure. Nathan MacKinnon and Sean Monahan very close and you have to always allow for the Jeff Skinner types and the Halifax Mooseheads' fans won't like to hear this but that could be Jonathan Drouin.

That is really something. I haven't seen him at all except for the lone SS game he was in. From what I have been reading on him, some scouts feel he could be the most talented player in this entire draft, but will not be NHL ready for at least another season post draft due to his size (and perhaps could even be a long-term prospect with the biggest upside). Intriguing to hear Button stating he could be in the NHL next season.

I don't remember Dale Hawerchuk well enough to judge if I agree with the comparison, but I do agree with Button that Barkov is much more reminiscent of a big Canadian centre than any Russian I can think of. Don't let the name fool you. Can't think of a perfect comparison but he's much closer to Thornton, Staal, Getzlaf than some speedy stick-wizard Russian.
