And we lose in Overtime. Another quick overtime loss for the Heat. 3-2 rampage.

The Heat really depend on their top players to score.

Without Sven, Walter, Bouma, etc., I can't see the team winning too many games.

Boo.... that was a silly play by Abby to let them go up 3 on 2 there.. Heat are cooling, and injured. Good to see them pick up a point.

They haven't had Bouma all year. They've still got scorers Horak, Slyvester, Kolanos, Brodie, Street, Byron. They can still win games. Defence has won them a lot of games this season too.

I realize that, but Bouma is a very good AHLer at this point, in his role at least. Now added are the losses of Baertschi and Walter. The team has lost a lot of its offence. The last month alone, it's been either Walter/Baertschi's line scoring or Street's line scoring. They haven't been putting up much offence at the same time lately. Now we've completely lost a whole line.

The other players are really just role players that play well defensively and it's a nice bonus if they score. It's going to be hard for the Heat to hold their position at the top without some regular scorers.

On a side note did anyone notice the way better quality of stream out of Abbotsford tonight. And can we expect this feed in the future? That would be awesome.

So happy for Rhino to get his first goal of the season. No joke, the kid should have at least 6 goals by now with all the desperation saves he's had against him and hit posts.

No way. I say ram Flames/Heat hockey down their Canuckleheads until they like it. They will eventually come around. Flames Fever will take over the world one city at a time. The next thing should be to put the Flames ECHL affiliate in Leduc. Also the Heat should use the Atlanta Flames Jersey as a third. It's just more Flamesy, people will really like that.

Tough loss, but I guess they can't be expected to maintain an 800 winning percentage all season. They say good teams never lose three in row. I think tonight will tell alot about this team.

think about it this way instead.

Since Abbotsford is covering all loses incurred those Canucks fans are basically paying for us to develop our prospects.

I say its the best way to stick it to em.

Let's recycle this thread for tonight, I guess.

There's a podium in New York and hockey in the Fraser Valley tonight.
