Hes going to sack Benitez after 3 games? Why bother even having a manager? Just manage it yourself Roman. If they dont respond to the tyrant himself then there truly is no hope.

I cant see Dortmund letting him go for only £12M. His contract with Dortmund runs until the end of next year.

this Dortmund team might go down with the mid 90's Ajax team which produced top level talent for all the other big teams in the world

on top of Lewandowski

Gotze, Hummels, Reus, and Piszczek could all be gone in the next few seasons

on top of Kagawa and Sahin who all ready left

Its certainly possible. Keeping all of those players isnt going to be easy, a fairly hefty chequebook would be required.

I guess I just thought that Dortmund would do it. They have a good group, a good team and they have no major financial difficulties that I know of.

It seemed like the club were big enough and successful enough that the players wanted to play there and that there would be no need to dismantle the team.

That 90s Ajax team suffered from the fact that the Eridivisie was rapidly becoming a second tier league, the Bundesliga doesnt suffer the same misfortune.

true ... I thought that if they pursued another player from Dortmund, it'd be Hummels. United don't really need another striker, with Welbeck and Hernandez already on the bench. They should look to sell Nani and find a young replacement (Taarabt seems to be Fergie's favourite ... I'd rather have someone like Kacaniklic) and also strengthen the defense. I really like Lewandowski, but the money should be spent elsewhere to strengthen the squad.

There's gonna be a logjam at Centre Back like there is at Forward though.

Smalling, Evans, Jones, Vidic, Rio. Sell Rio, bring in Hummels. I like Lewandoski, but pass - as I don't want to disrupt chemistry. Instead bring in a winger. 40 + Nani for Bale?

there's a 0% chance Bale gets sold to an English team outside of an absolute god father offer which only one team can make

United needs central midfield help.

Carrick/Scholes/Fletcher are just not good enough any more.

No worries, they'll be buying Sneijder in January. Otherwise they'll just make Rooney a CM now that they'll have RvP, Hernandez, Welbeck, Bebe and Lewandowski.

No way Rooney can play a full 90 at CM.

I am not even sure Sneijder is what they need, they have no issue in the final third creating offense.

They need an elite box to box midfielder, somebody like De Rossi would be just what the doctor ordered.

Sneijder makes no sense

he plays behind the striker, which is where Kagawa and now Rooney both play

they need someone to play in front of the back 4 and go box to box

someone like a Toure/Sandro/Ramires/Lucas/Arteta etc.

every other top 6ish club in England has at least 1 or in some cases 2
