If the Eagles weren't in full quit mode I would say Jackson but with the Eagles quitting and Jackson being the d-bag he is I might go with Smith even with Newton more likely to throw to the Eagles than Smith.

Well it turns out Kenny Britt was given 2 more points, so now I have a 3 point lead. I really need this win too, I think if I win I should be all but guaranteed a playoff spot. If I lose, then things get really interesting.

Cam Newton's 39 point performance gave me an 8 point win in the B league keeping me alive for playoffs. Sorry Wolfwood

I had Newton on the bench in the A league. Also benched my top scoring DEF (SF), TE (Gresham) and K (Akers). I had 89 points on my bench and 96 in my lineup! Still won the matchup though and clinched a playoff spot, very lucky me.

Bryce Brown almost sunk me, I escaped with a 0.56 point win pending no stat adjustments.

T.Smith vs. PIT (SunPM start)

S.Moss vs. NYG (MonPM start)

Amendola vs. SF (SunAM start)

Jennings vs. MIN (SunAM start)

I need two to start.

I think I have to play Smith at home, even against PIT, where he has 6 of his 7 TDs. The kicker is he only put up 1-7-0 two weeks ago @ PIT.

Moss put up 5 TDs over his last 5 games (he put up a 1-2-0 against CAR when he was knocked out with a concussion) and put up 3-67-2 @ NYG earlier this year.

Amendola is beat up and only played in select groupings last week, but his first week back after his major injury he put up 11-102-0 @ SF.

Jennings is a wildcard. They say he will practice fully this week and start on Sunday. With Nelson, Cobb, & Jones in the mix, I’m not sure where to gauge Jennings in the Packers offence. I have Rodgers at QB which would offset some of the hurt if I didn’t start Jennings and he went big.

My initial thought is to start Smith & Moss. Amendola seems pretty beat up and Jennings output will be hit or miss.

Thoughts?

I'd also go with Smith and Moss. I'd definitely wait a week to see how involved Jennings is with the offense before I'd feel confident starting him because Rodgers seems very comfortable with Cobb/Jones/Nelson.

You want to know just how weird this year is? I'm sitting Mathews and McFadden this week for Bryce Brown, Alfred Morris, and Knowshon Moreno.

Haha ya was just talking about that with a buddy last night.

My backs after our draft on the eve of the season: Fred Jackson, Willis McGahee, David Wilson, Ronnie Brown, Felix Jones.

My backs today: Jonathan Dwyer, Knowshon Moreno, Chris Ivory, Joique Bell, Fred Jackson (who's firmly planted on the bench these days). Crazy year. And awful draft at RB for me.

Yeah, I think I drafted McFadden, Mathews, Isaac Redman, and Donald Brown. Bust city. Although looking back, round 1 of our draft went like this:

Arian Foster
Aaron Rodgers
Lesean McCoy
Ray Rice
Calvin Johnson
MJD
Cam Newton
Ryan Mathews
Lary Fitzgerald

Exactly 3 of those players are in the top 10 for points this year. RGIII went in the 11th round and Randall Cobb went in the 14th.

Thanks for that stellar game Brees...you pretty much cost me my playoff matchup.

I'm struggling with two fantasy plays this week.

Need to pick one of these WR:

Ty Hilton vs DET
Santana Moss vs NYG
Justin Blackmon vs BUF

And one RB:

Ahmad Bradshaw vs WAS
Jamaal Charles vs CAR
DeAngelo Williams vs KC

With the incident at Arrowhead this morning, I just don't really want to think about the game between CAR and KC though.

Yeah, I'm conflicted with Charles now. This was a great matchup, bad run defence on a short week playing on the road. But given the events of yesterday, he could really be in tough shape mentally today. He's already been getting flack for asking Peyton Manning for an autograph last week. Now a woman who met a teammate through him lost her life. I think I'll sit him and play Leshoure instead.
