The older I get the weirder I feel about people giving me gifts. It gets a little silly after all these years. I just want my wife and kids to enjoy the holidays. That's where my enjoyment comes from now. It's kind of liberating actually.

I want a new sweater or two. Or three. Or four. Can't have too many sweaters, you know.

And a new stereo deck for my car.

I live in Lake Bonavista and my parents live on Vancouver Island.

I need to start practicing for Rescue 2014 in France! (the trip will be on my wish list for next year)

It's a rescue board, not a surf board. You're meant to paddle with your arms while either laying on your stomach or kneeling. It's a great arm/core workout.

-Knee brace (I'm having knee surgery a week before Xmas)
-Surround sound system for my TV. I guess I could get this on sale on boxing day but I probably won't.
-An SSD, maybe 160GB? I can definitely get THIS one on boxing day though.
-Fancy tea making apparatus.

My bigger issue isn't what I want to get but what in the nine hells I get for my brother and parents. At least the girlfriend's easy to shop for.

Ditto but they want to get you something so I assign them to get me stuff I would buy anyway.

The Ultimate collector's version set of the Millenium Falcon is actually the bigger lego set. The star destroyer set is a $400 set:

The Millenium Falcon set typically sells for over $3000:

I should've looked a little closer. I take my comment back, that thing is insanely badass. I thought I was looking at this:

Another GTX 680.

Barring that, a fairy that will pay the dental bills my company health plan didn't cover.

My wife is so bad at picking presents, I finally gave her a list. First one I made in probably 20+ years.
