I can also see why her new husband would not want "a deadbeat dad" that abandomed them back in their lives.

Once again, it does not justify Ryan's murder. But it does provide some understanding of Sheena and her circle's thoughts about Ryan and his character.

Of course, no one deserves death. But if Ryan was a model father the entire time, I doubt he gets killed
not to jump on you Albert but we don't know that. We can make assumptions, but good people get murdered to just for trying to get custody or increase their visitation rights.

At the end of it all murder is pretty much cold blooded and the reasons for the killings becomes almost irrelevant with few exceptions.

Lets see know, the cow allegedly had him killed, got new husband and sex offending uncle (?) to do it, can't think why a guy might step away from that peerless example of the fairer sex, I'm sure the discusions over access money etc were always pleasent and reasonable.

If we will ever find out the truth...only 4 people know what really happened and one of them is dead.

So in other words, these three are guilty.

Well, I'm all for innocent until proven guilty, but minus the numbers I used, I feel my point still stands...sometimes the truth is only known by the victim and the offender.

Breaking: sources say Sheena Rempel and Will Rempel are now in custody in connection with the murder of Ryan Lane. Sheena's husband Tim Rempel turned himself in to police on Wednesday morning. All three suspects in the case are now in custody. Details to follow....

I was honestly kidding. I think the CPS have a pretty good track record, and I doubt they're barking up this tree without substantial evidence. What I should have said would have been more along the lines of that all three were participants to some degree.

It kind of blows my mind that a young mother would actually be involved in the murder of her child's father. I think this is going to be an interesting trial.

Sorry for bugging you, and sorry for joking in a thread like this.

And what is with some of the news outlets saying names and others not saying names? I heard the breaking news during the hourly updates on Monday or Tuesday on QR, and all they said was two men and a woman. Since I had read in this thread earlier that suspicion was on the mother and husband and another guy, I pretty much figured it was these three. Then I came home and there are Global links in this thread with the peoples' names, and interviews, and even today, they're not saying names on QR or in the link a couple posts above.

Anyone know why some outlets are not naming names?

I think some are not naming names to protect the child's identity

I think this aspect of the story (if it really is an aspect) shouldn't really be highlighted. If Sheena was a driving force to kill Ryan, then it really doesn't matter.
Actually it matters quite a bit. Establishing a motive is a pretty important thing. I don't know that it matters for this discussion, but if it wasn't for the fact that Pylon has a tie to this I'd imagine there would be a lot more discussion around the bigger picture elements of this story than there has been.

Yeah, it's difficult to discuss openly knowing that someone here has ties to the situation.

I have no issues if this thread is deleted, and re-booted by someone else without my involvement. My original intent was to help find Ryan Lane. Now that was accomplished with the least desirable result, this thread can die.

Obviously there are things I wish I could share, but I cannot, and will not as I stated before for the obvious reasons. I will however, not besmirch anyone for discussing this in a thread that does not involve me.

All I can say is this, before this thread goes away. Ryan was a good guy, and I know that for fact.

The weird thing is, the Sun mentioned yesterday that the body was actually found in June, but the public wasn't notified.

Probably kept it secret in order to build a case against the suspects.
