Interesting fact I heard on TV during last night's game: The Philadelphia Phillies have won a game more recently then the Eagles!

Eagles have released Jason Babin. First of many I suspect. What a craptacular year to be an Eagles fan.

Liners signed NaVorro Bowman to an extension today. He has been outplaying Willis so far this year, and now he is signed through 2018. Willis is signed through 2016. So up the middle with #52 & #53 is pretty much set for a long while (barring injury).

Bears sign Andre gurode today. Probably far past his prime to really help the line that much but at this point you can't be much worse.

And on the bad side of the ledger, on one play Kendall Hunter tore his Achilles and Kyle Williams tore his ACL.

That leaves 2 open starting spots. It sounds like LaMichael James and AJ Jenkins may be in line to suit up for the first time this season.

Considered one of the top 3-4 CBs in the NFL when he was with the Raiders.

Cowboys fans want Obama to get Jerry out of the organization.

I'm sure Aso would be good again if he went to a team where he could play man defense all game. The guy was fantastic in Oakland. It seemed an odd signing for Philly since they play so much zone.

Washington, Cleveland, San Diego, Oakland, Miami, and Buffalo all placed a claim on him also.

Rolando McClain has been cut by the Oakland Raiders.

EDIT: Interesting since I have now read that only three teams put a waiver claim in for him, Washington, Buffalo, and Jacksonville. Guess you gotta be careful with who use for your sources of information.

Raiders fans is he any good? I know there was that situation with the police in the Summer, but he was a good MLB with amazing potential in Madden so I'd always get him on my team.

I totally forgot the Niners had LeMichael James. Loved watching him at Oregon, will be interesting to see what he does with some carries now.

Tonight after landing in Atlanta for tomorrow's game, the Saints players' bus was egged by airport workers. I liked PFT's remarks about it in their article:

It’s fitting that they chose eggs, given that the Saints are going for a dozen wins in their last 14 games against the Falcons.

I want Aaron Curry, Rolando McClain, and Jamarcus Russel starting for the Chiefs the next time they play the Raiders.

Haha that is a good response.

Pretty sure the Falcons are going to squeak this one out though

horrible clock management by the Saints on those final few plays, very rare but the offense is really starting to come alive
