I have a few friends with Jeep's, they all regret not buying the Rubicon. (They all regret buying Jeeps too, that's another issue altogether.)

Why do all of Rerun's threads feel like chain email forwards I get from my father?

Very nice! Back in the day I had an 81 CJ-7 and an 87 YJ. If I didn't do so much driving and if they weren't so bad on gas I'd love to own one of the new ones.

He looks like his Jeep has broken down and he's waiting for someone to come help him because he doesn't want to get his fabulous pink shirt dirty.

I thought that was part of the appeal. Gives you an opportunity to flirt with the hunky tow truck driver.

I owned a Jeep Wrangler for a couple months before selling it. Most uncomfortable ride I've ever experienced. Bought another Jeep, but this time an SUV in the form of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Much much much nicer ride, and quiet.

That last time I checked, you don't need to be in a moving in an open topped vehicle to experience the effects of wind.

People don't buy the Wrangler because its a quiet comfortable ride. They buy it for other reasons.
