If you're looking for a thin-profile watch, but want something better build than a Skagen, the Citizen Stiletto might be a nice option. It's better quality, made in Japan by a real watch company, not a fashion brand.
I actually have one of these myself. It's a really nice dress watch, although unfortunately I don't have a lot of situations to wear it, so I'll probably be looking to sell it soon.
This is mine (white version of the above).

Is that top one the 'black' version? or is there a sorta charcoal one too? I can only see very dark black ones online, but I'm really liking that top watch picture.

I'm not 100% sure since that photo I found online (the one on the bottom is mine though), but it looks like a black faced one to me, but still has everything else steel. They also have one that's totally blacked-out which I'm not as crazy about.

Ah k, that answers my question. I can only find that totally blacked-out one which I'm not a fan of either. Love the white one and the black faced one.

Yeah, it's actually hard to find the white/black version in NA for some reason. I remember having to order mine from some Japanese online store (trying to remember the name....).

Considering it's about a $15 homage, awesome!
Most of my watches are of the similar variety though I have some from true brands (for example Seiko, Hamilton, Citizen). From a distance it looks like a Bell and Ross but closer up you'd know for sure. At worst the big "Pakin" name on it would give it away. I mainly buy watches based on the look of them. I'd love to be able to justify $2k for a B&R but I'm happy finding good looking alternatives.
I'm also pretty clear with anyone who comments about a watch I have that it wasn't expensive. I think other than the gold watches I've inherited my most expensive is my Citizen dive watch. Even that I ended up getting a wicked deal on it and paid under 50% of retail. I'm not someone who needs to pretend a watch I have is really expensive. I figure if it made you look or made you ask, it looks good and that's all that matters.

Nice planet ocean! I wish I had my seamaster with me, but the bracelet broke and I have not found a replacement for it.

Nothing! lol
I have a steelfish sitting at home. It needs servicing and I haven't had time. my omega works, but I broke my bracelet drunk partying one night. Sold my panerai arktos awhile ago, and no longer have the IWC big pilot (sold as well). So now I have no watch to wear.

This is the Movado watch I wear. I get compliments on it practically on a daily basis. This particular design is referred to as the "Bosses watch" as it does not have a ticker or markings, because the boss doesn't have to be on time.

A boss doesn't call his watch a "bosses watch"

That's a nice looking watch. That must be at least $900 (regular price)

I'll put in a plug for Omega service. I have a Speedmaster, and in keeping with the title of this thread I wear it. Every day, it is the only watch I have. So it got a little beat up. Couple of scratches in the hessalite crystal, marks on the closure, generally a little scruffy looking.
A few months back I took the kids to the WEM waterpark, and like an idiot forgot to lock my watch in the car. I didn't trust the lockers, so I kept my watch on.
Like I said, like an idiot.
Long story short, my Speedy stopped working. So I took it in and had it sent off to Omega for service. It wasn't cheap, stupidity tax rarely is, but man am I happy with the result. Yes, the watch works like a charm now. But as an added bonus it looks amazing! The crystal is replaced, the marks on the band and closure smoothed away. It's like having a new watch.
One year warranty to boot.
So not something I would want to do very often, but it is nice to know I have the option of getting it back to almost new if need be.

Okay, silly question. Are Speedmasters not waterproof? I wouldn't hesitate taking my Submariner or Daytona into a waterpark. I do get the watertight seal checked every couple of years.

Nope. They are considered "splash proof", you can wear it doing dishes. Or in the shower. Not Tropical Typhoon waterslide proof.
I have a long range plan to get a Seamaster or something else a bit more robust one of these days.
