Surprised to see people having Washington in the play-offs. I don't see them beating the Cowboys twice and TB seems to be able to win 3 games down the stretch (assuming the ATL game is them resting a ton of guys.)

Aaron Curry was waived by the Raiders. I may be taking crazy pills but wasn't he the consensus "surefire" NFL ready top 5 pick in his draft? Maybe the Seattle and Oakland fans can shed some light on this.

I think they can beat the Cowboys at least once, Giants once, Eagles again, the Browns, and possibly that beat up Baltimore team.

Curry had the talent to be an elite linebacker but he never learned to play the game properly. He was constantly out of position, misreading plays and taking poor angles of pursuit.

I run the playoff machine and get:

AFC:
1. Houston 13-3
2. Denver 13-3
3. New England 12-4
4. Baltimore 11-5
5. Pittsburgh 10-6
6. Indianapolis 9-7
7. Cincinnati 9-7

NFC:
1: San Francisco 13-2-1
2. Green Bay 13-3
3. Atlanta 13-3
4. Dallas 10-6
5. Chicago 12-4
6. New York Giants 10-6
7. Seattle 10-6

Agreed. The lack of pressure from the line doesn't make the secondary's job any easier. The wide 9 is just not working with this personnel group. Cole and Babin lost a step? A little to undersized at the tackle position? Cox is the best of the bunch so far.

Well Washington only makes it in my scenario because 8-8 wins the NFC East. I think they can beat the Giants at home, win one game against the Cowboys, and also beat the Eagles. That gave them a 4-2 Division record vs the Giants 3-3. I had Dallas gonig 7-9...because that seems like a very Dallas thing to do under Jason Garret.

I also had Tampa getting to 9-7, but losing two head to head games with New Orleans knocked them out.

Yeah, I'm really not sure what's up with Cole this year. Babin has been laregly useless, and I really don't understand why Graham and Hunt aren't seeing the majority of the snaps there. It looks like Vinny Curry is going to play on Monday. Cox is a beast.

Reports coming out that Kaepernick will be the 49'ers starter against the Saints.

Well then it appears the big difference in my view and the Redskins making it view is that they beat the Giants.

I could see this one being a bit of a shootout. Houston played 5 quarters on Sunday and are getting pretty banged up on D. Down to the third string MLB, and missing the top CB too. Short weeks are tough on these teams.

Washington doesn't play again after today until the 3rd. Teams that get a Thursday-Monday long week get a huge break.

He just doesn't seem to learn from any of his punishments.

Painfully stupid from Detroit there. That wouldn't have been a TD if he wouldn't have thrown his challenge flag and waited for the official review.

Not sure how the refs even missed the player going down, it should have never gotten to the point of a challenge flag being thrown.
