I am sure the shows director has "Binder's full of Women"
Because her First name starts with an "A" she was probably the first woman in the binder, so the director just got lazy, and she got the part.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here.
Is this meant to be funny? And who's name starts with an "A"?

I never thought about the gay angle until you mentioned it. It makes a little sence. There was that picture with his arm around him and when Isak is at the strip club he doesn't care about any of the strippers. You might be on to something, Chief.

i thought it was pretty obvious from the way the photograph was hidden, and Isaak's single tear when he looked at it

Slow episode tonight. Can't believe Deb told Dex that lol.
The conversation between Isaak and Dex was the most interesting thing this epi.

The kids come back for no apparent reason, the "I'm in love with my brother" storyline resurfaces, Dexter has some unimportant conversations with his father, Laguerta's investigation progresses about 1 minute in real time, the only hint of violence is a bullet hitting a donut and a spur-of-the-moment kill of a guy we've never seen before, and the big reveal is that Isaak is gay, which was already pretty obvious. Hopefully they were setting up future plotlines, but that was just an all around awful episode.

That was one of the best episodes of Dexter. This is the second time I've said this about an episode this season. Sarah Carpenter deserves Emmy recognition for her work here. Amazing how far she's come since season one.
Oh, and the Dexter/Issak scene was incredible. Truly one of the most gripping moments of television I've ever watched.

I don't think Deb had to act. I think she is still in love with dexter in real life. I like Jennifer Carpenter.

That's pretty much what I was going to say. Deb is such a diverse strong character, so well acted and Dexter and Issak having a sit down was epic. A raw conversation between 2 killers vs one another, A brief truce.
I am intrigued as to how far they take Laguerta's investigation and will she be killed off maybe not by Dexter?
I wonder if they will have Hannah witness Dexter killing a victim or does he finally finish her off...alot of questions this season has gotten good. Hannah is smoking hot!

The whole incestuous storyline is just unnecessary. Icky.

haha I definitely did not expect that, for sure and it seems weird, but my wife was saying they aren't actually blood related if that helps (is that true?)?
I thought it was a good episode, they should crank up the heat on the Laguerta investigation to get things good again...

I don't even remember how much they are related but even if they aren't at all, to me it's still gross. They grew up together as brother and sister.

Not related at all besides the fact they grew up together as bro and sis. Harry picked up Dexter from a crime scene where he was sitting in a pool of his mom's blood.

My brother and sister and I are all adopted..Ya, it's just plain creepy..Kind of a slow episode for me..I hope things pick up next week..I will agree with a couple of posters on here that Jennifer Carpenter is becoming a pretty good actor.

i didn't care about Rita. i didn't care about Lila or Lumen. but godamnit Dexter deserves to keep Hannah, and we deserve to see Yvonne Strahovski for another season. i know it's pretty much impossible with the way the plotline for this season is going, but i really want her to live

Just to clarify, I agree the bro-sis thing is creepy / awkward. Was just curious if they were blood related is all.
Just want to be clear, agreed on weird factor.

You know it's creepy weird when the serial killer in the show is looking at her with a look of WTF is wrong with you.
