You cannot have unmarked prescriptions, prescriptions in someone else's name, or combine more than one prescription in a bottle when crossing the border.

I am in Maui right now (slight e-brag) and I switched everything off and just bought a text package from rogers for the odd time I have to let someone know where I am. Just go into settings/general/cellular, and shut off data and 4G. Our condo has wifi, and all texts and email etc are free while you are on wifi. I also installed the Magicjack free app to make free outgoing calls if someone is using the phone.

Ah, settled life, aint it grand? Haha! In all truth though, she should know that too. Instead of trying to slide it by (with Gold no less!) it should be a mutual decision shouldnt it?
"Look, Lisa needs braces, we cant afford platinum right now. In all reality things would be much better if we didnt buy Gold either at the moment. Are we agreed?"
Instead of:
"I hope she'll take gold instead and either not notice or just not tear my testicles off and play golf with them."
It sounds like hes trying to feed the monster so it doesnt eat him.
Then again, I'm not married, so what do I know?

I've seen some people shut off cell data and not be able to use it for calls/texting. No idea why. It seemed rather odd. I always shut off just the data roaming when out of country and its been fine.

Okay, really I just want to be able to have my phone and send text messages to my GF if we get split up without signing over either my balls or a semi-consensual rape-session to Telus. I also do not want to be getting my email. Is this a possible thing?

Long shot... but does anyone know where to buy a 'graduation gown' for a dog?! My dog graduates from his puppy classes next week and we think it would be funny to show up with him wearing one.
Since its not halloween, I am running out of ideas of where to look on such short notice. Internet is pretty much out of the question, due to timing.

Alright, investigating 'Magicjack' whatever the hell that is.
I do not want to buy jack all from Telus. Bunch of goddamn gypsies, tramps and thieves those basterds are.
I just want to be able to send the odd text, make the rare if ever emergency phone call, and thats it. If there was a merciful cell-phone God there should be a reasonably inexpensive way of doing this.

I got the dog from the humane society. They REQUIRE you to take puppy classes now upon adoption to prevent the mass amounts of dogs being returned to them within a year of adoption.

When I'm out of the country, I always leave it on airplane mode with wifi enabled. I had pretty good luck in Mexico last week finding a wifi connection whenever I wanted one, because they don't seem to be as careful about password protecting it down there.

That actually makes a staggering amount of sense.

So the class is for you then, not the puppy? Is it like obediance school or more of a "are you sure you're responsible enough to take care of a pet" type thing?

They teach you how to train the dog. So in a sense it is moreso for you than the dog. But the dogs do come out of it with a ton of new skills and tricks, makes them much more trainable and manageable.

So the phone calls and texts will go through the wifi? I didnt think Mexico had the internet yet. How nice for them.

Regular texts will go through wifi, but you'll need to download an app to make calls through wifi. I use Viber to call anyone who has Viber and Talkatone to call anyone who doesn't. Since you only want to call you girlfriend, it's probably easier if you both just download the Viber app.

You can send texts through email, if you know the recipient's provider. There is a list of which email addresses to use, but its basically just phonenumber@msg.telus.com or whatever.

If you are on an iPhone with iOS 4 or greater, your texting automatically defaults to imessage/wifi as long as you are texting another iPhone user, and as long as you are connecting to wifi.
Magicjack is a silly little free skype app, that allows you to make phone calls from your handset using wifi, instead of the cell network. It works surprisingly well. Also don't forget you have facetime to chat with people with iPhone back home as long as the have an iOS device.
Rogers charged me 25 bucks for 100 texts (crooks) but at the end of the day, it was still cheaper than buying pay as you go handset here, or unlocking the phone and buying a US sim.

I don't know how they know, but if you go on Google Earth they tell you the current traffic speeds for roads all over Calgary.
I suspect that Google has found a profitable way to have people drive all over the city to report their speeds.

Google gets the data from anyone who has "my location" enabled on google maps while driving.

Keurig set up what looks like a booth on the south side of 9th Ave, just west of 5th St. The flags say something about $30k in prizes.
Anyone know what the deal with this is?

Is it legal to masturbate in a closed stall in a public restroom? From the sounds of things, I'm 99% sure that my co-worker is right now. Is that something that I could report him for (he's easy to recognize because he's the only guy who wears Converse with his suit), or is a stall private enough that he's allowed to do that?
