that would be the ultimate scene in TV history. after that, just shut off all cameras everywhere because there can never be a scene cooler than that. i was hoping the producers have balls big enough to pull it off, but, alas.

Michonne has never had any contact with the rest of the group.
She and Andrea have been on their own for 8 months, and have no expectations of ever finding the other group, or any reason to believe that the other group is even still alive.

^^ I think he means use that chance to escape. I don't think Merle needs to "escape" per se; he could probably go out if he wanted to. However he may not be allowed back in. He also mentioned that when the govenor found him he was pretty much zombie bait; so there is a bit of a sense of loyalty I would think.

Uh... you do realize we have as much of an accent as he does? Right?

I have to think Carol is alive, but she may have fled from the entire prison. I have a feeling she will run into Michone and bring her to the prison since Michone will probably recognize her name from Andreas's constant babbling.
Or the Govenor & Merle find Carol and she tells them about the prison

My guess would be Carol is held up somewhere in the prison.

My theory used to be that Carl couldn't actually shoot Lori. That Carol stumbles onto Lori, and is able to drag her somewhere safe and sew her up, otherwise, why bother with showing her practising on a walker? Now that Rick finds Tubby McMommyBurger I am not so sure. Maybe he just got a hold of the afterbirth, they are rich in nutrients, they could be a Zombie delicacy.

I think Lori was suppose to be dead right after birth, and the shot wasn't to kill but prevent the eventual turning
Even if someone found her it was the bad surgery that did her in, no amount of sewing could save her.
She is beyond toast

You are probably right. Although it still isn't out of the realm of possibly. Lori's remains, whether turned or not, with a bullet in the head hasn't turned up. The Zombie ate her skull? That would be hard to do with a set of teeth that are exactly in tip top shape. You don't see Carl shoot her, and he is anxious to leave. Maybe he doesn't have the stomach to do it, and leaves in a hurry. Carol was supposedly training for the procedure, and I am betting she is still alive somewhere.
Besides, wouldn't it be cool for Rick to boink Michonee creating a karma-ironic-rain-on-your-wedding-day situation for Lori? Michonne could then slice and dice her. Even the Lori haters would go for that, wouldn't they?

I think it's been pretty much put to rest...SAW style C-section causes bleed out, Carl eliminates the turn by busting a cap in her face, zombie gorges himself on fresh kill complete with hair in the teeth and nails, undoes his belt for a snooze murmuring "I can't believe I ate the whole thing...".
Carol was practicing so she would be prepared when the time came. Showing her doing it is good story telling, it's both creepy and practical.
As in every episode there's always something that is questionable or they could have done better. I am certain that they, the walkers, are very unlikely to eat bone but I just accept it...because hey they're not real in the first place so maybe they do eat bone....

You are probably right as well. But so far it is just circumstantial evidence. There are a lot of assumptions being made, and I do think there is more to be told. Habeus corpus, or something like that. ;-)

On the Talking Dead, the director of the episiode said that the bloody drag marks were meant to show that Lori's body was around the corner and eaten. There was also some of Lori's hair in the zombies mouth and hands. Carl did shoot Lori, she isn't coming back as a zombie. I suspect the reason they did not show Lori's body being mangled is to save time/money/issues with the censors on the episode since there was enough zombie gore that episode.

The part I just don't get is the walker dragging Lori around the corner. We have never seen a walker grab and move a body. They usually just collapse in front of the body and start gorging on it. I just can't see one going, this place is not suitable, I should take it around the corner where there is better light and the floor is cleaner.

Did he say they were 'meant' to show? That exact word? Maybe he is misleading us into believing the corpse was ate, when in fact it is somewhere else and will re appear in the story?

Maybe buddy ate the placenta, and not the actual body.

I think you guys may have it backwards. Lori's body never moved, it was the blood trail from the walker after he ate/was cover in Lori's blood and guts. When Maggie took the baby away just before Carl shoots Lori she goes around the corner, stops and hears the gun shot.
The zombie is lethargic and can barley move, he was trying to drag himself away and got tired and stayed where he was.
Yes I know, zombies getting tired and sitting around is dumb too but it isn't the first time a zombie was propped against the wall and just sitting there.
