Post Game Rant's

I know there have been 2 or 3 games I have wanted to rant about and know of other teams that would as well. ie when I beat buffalo 3-2 in OT and the 2 goals I got during regulation he put in his own net lol.

Anyway, I figured this could be a good idea to get those heart breaking losses off your chest.


Ill start with out shooting the blue jackets 76-13 and losing 1-0 in a shootout. The controller nearly went through the TV 10 minutes ago.

76 shots is alot...i thought St. Louis was the only one that could acheive that.

Ya that would have been a tough one to stay through haha. I had trouble making it through my Buffalo game 7 goals on 26 shots.

I was around 60 at the end of the 2nd.... they tightened up in the third/overtime.

Ive been a big fan of the walk in backhand lately, goalies never cover it as it hits their chest and then you get 1-3 baby rebounds as you just keep flicking the trigger stick.
Didnt work in this game lol.

I'd say the worst one for me was my last game against TB, our games have been pretty even so far but it felt like I absolutely dominated this game, but pretty sure he won 2-1 in OT.

Yup, miller stole one from you but don't worry though that came back to me and then some against Buffalo the next game haha. 7 goals on 26 shots, I didn't play well but I do feel that 3 were pretty terrible haha.

See, if you'd made this thread early in the season I'd have lots to post, I think my first couple play periods I was below 500 and outshooting the opposition more than 2-1.

Lately even the games I've significantly outshot people and lost haven't been out of hand super unrealistic bad. Sometimes you're gonna lose a game where you outshoot / outchance the other guy... I've for sure lost a few in OT that I probably should have won but it wasn't to a point where I'm like "okay eff this, this game just robbed me." Dunno if it's me adjusting or the tuner sets.

Had a pretty painful one with Tagg3r. 35 shots to 24, he won 3-0. It hurts a little less in that I don't feel like I necessarily deserved to win, but it should've at least been close - particularly given that my 35 shots did not include the 4 open nets my guy either shot wide or hit the post on.

For sure had at least 3 missed wide open nets... but you have to admit all my goals were nice and well deserved.

Not really a rant but columbus may have been upset at the one goal lecavalier scored for me tonight. Streaking down the wing, aim top shelf short side, stick shatters and I end up scoring five hole. I thought it was pretty funny

I'm so use to losing that I was just shocked I was able to rebound and score! Not that a couple of my goals weren't flukes as well!

I have lost to Buffalo a countless amount of times so I throw Markstrom in today to get a bigger body to defend against his one timers. out-shot him 29 to 23 and lose 3 to 2 with Lebda scoring Buffalo's first goal on my own net. I am beginning to become depressed playing him, I can't buy a win! And had 2 or 3 posts and a wide open net missed by Henrique.

Hah, I felt the same way up until yesterday, I had two real stinker goals against Fleury in two seperate games that literally made me laugh out loud. Both were backhand wristers too, one from between the faceoff dots that beat him five hole and one from the blueline that got tipped, lol.

I think I beat them 4 or 5 to 1, I forget who was in nets but it was rebound city.
