My only real criticism of Brodie is that he gets it in his head to try to do too much and ends up doing nothing well. He's at his best when he simplifies his game.

It is unfortunate that the guy had to go to the hospital and all. But in my opinion that was a clean hit and just an unlucky sequence ending with a skate in the neck.

Brodie has a pretty dynamic game on the back end, I don't want him to be doing simple things. He's young and he's going to make mistakes trying too much but I'd rather he do that then just keep it simple when he can be so much more.
