I thought it was dumb of him at first, but... to make the argument for him
he stays there 2-3 years, gets paid, probably gets a few winners medals
and then goes on to a mid-table club in a few seasons to play every game
also known as the Adam Johnson Career Trajectory

Still have to think somebody else would have been offering 40-50k and first team football.

And potentially Champions' League play as well as potentially a title?
I agree with you, but its nothing new, players have been going to teams for bigger money and less playing time since forever. He'll get loaned out somewhere probably.
Case in point? Nuri Sahin when he transferred from Dortmund to Real Madrid. He got paid, he never played and now hes on loan to Liverpool. He had just won the Young German Player of the Year award and Dortmund won the Bundesliga. Should he have stayed there? Probably, but Madrid were offering too much money.

From 2-0 down against Arsenal, Schalke score 2 quick goals to tie it up.
Huntelaar with 1, Farfan with the other. Game on again.

Still don't think the draw is good enough for City though, they need the win.

I believe you're correct. Digging a 2-0 hole in the first 20 minutes wasnt a great plan.

Aguero with a goal but Kolarov was offside.
Ozil equalizes for Madrid.

That was as perfect as you can make it. Like you said, right off the inside of the post. I want the Dortmund win, but that goal was sensational.

if the scores stay as is
Dortmund 8
RM 7
Ajax 4
City 2
still mathematically possible for City, but they would need to beat RM, and beat Dortmund
have Ajax beat RM and Dortmund beat Ajax

I have a feeling this isn't the last time we have seen BvB and RM play
also Balotelli is close to attacking the ref

They wanted a penalty at the death. I didnt watch it, so I have no idea but apparently it was for a 'shirt-tug.'

Also two disallowed goals on offside calls. Haven't seen the calls to see how controversial they actually are.

the penalty I have seen given
but it would have been somewhat harsh
Balotelli was pulled, which happens on every corner, but he had the ball so the ref should have been staring straight at it, and once he lost control of it (50/50 that it was him or the pulling the caused it) he kind of just dropped
