I seriously can't believe how the Colts get to draft Manning...than suck one year and get Andrew Luck. If Pagano sticks around long enough, he'll get him a Lombardi trophy or two.
Last year was so frustrating watching Painter and Collins (he got injured) suck it up. But the year to suck was last year for sure. Such a blessing to have Luck as QB. Colts are set for the next decade at that position. They need to improve on defense through the draft and signings though.
Reggie is Reggie but I've been impressed with the other young guys on offense. Hilton, Fleener, Allen, and Brown have all played well. I think a big acquisition for the Colts that went under the radar on offense this year was Donnie Avery. He has had some big games at reciever.
I wonder what record will be needed to make the playoffs. 10-6? Colts have 4 games left on their schedule that they should win. So just steal 1 of the remaining 4 I suppose if they can go 4/4 on the games they should win.

Any team with a 9-7 record should make the playoffs this year in the AFC. Look at the records of the teams right now, look at their schedules, and tell me if you see anyone outside of Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New England, Denver, Houston as being able to put up 10 wins this year. San Diego, Indy, and Miami are the only teams who have a realistic shot at 9 wins, and I don't think more than 1 of those teams will do so.
At this point in the season any 3-5 team would have to finish 6-3 to get to 9 wins. Non of the 3 win teams in the AFC look remotely close to being able to do that, moreso if you look at teams they still have to play.

Why did the chiefs release Rout after guaranteeing 6 million to him. My recollection is he is a pretty darn good press corner (not elite like carr but good)
If it was good it would mean Berman was a real journalist.
lol
I actually like Berman but point taken.
Not to make this into a political thread and I am biased but I thought Mitt actually did much better out of the two. Not that it will (maybe more appropriately should) make any difference tomorrow.
To get back to football how great must it be to be Michael Vick? Keep sucking game after game and still have a ton of defenders ready to make excuses. He might be the closest to unerstanding how Tebow feels despite the complete opposites that they are in terms of people/off the field.
The Eagles are a complete mess. I have zero faith with Foles as the QB of the future (Reid and Vick are gone by year end). Is it too much to hope they get a top 10 pick and a real QB moving forward?
Vick hasn't been great tonight, but you can't blame him for the INT.
The Eagles defensive play calling sucks.
It is a hell of a lot more than just that INT.
Have the Eagles and Saints switched defenses? I know that the Saints can be explosive but the Eagles are getting beat all over the field and that is with some iffy no call PI's in their favor.
And of course as I type that they get a fumble recovery.
