Star Wars was initially a Marvel comic, so that would come full circle in a way.

Funny enough, Disneyland has had the Star Tours ride since 1987 and they've had an Indiana Jones ride for quite a few years also.

So what are the chances now of getting the original theatrical Star Wars trilogy on bluray w/o the extra crap.

Interesting diagram, even if it is kind of disproportionate. Every circle is the same size, but you've got one for things as big as Pixar, or...the Mighty Step Up franchise.

Yeah, the Disney logo alone would have it's own branches before going off to Lucas Films, Marvel, Pixar etc.

Why are X-Men/Spiderman/Ghost Rider split from Marvel?

For Spiderman, Sony purchased the rights from Marvel some time ago. I believe the deal is that the rights revert back to Marvel if a Spiderman movie isn't made over a five-year period which is largely the reason why they did the reboot this past year.

Prior to the big superhero movie craze, the rights to the individual properties were sold seperately. Before special effects caught up, it was really dificult to make a good superhero movie.
A lot of the rights were purchased a lont time ago too. Spiderman was purchased by Sony in 1985. X-men was purchased in 1994.
If Marvel were to redo it now, you can bet they'd want them all under one umbrella and we'd be seeing cameos and cross marketing everywhere.
