2012 Fantasy Football Thread

I sat Crabtree tonight. Between my two WR's and flex guys of Victor Cruz, Vincent Jacksin, and Malcolm Floyd...I got 10 total points. I lost my matchup by 12....basically bench any of those chumps for Crabtree and I win....so sad.

Crabtree still isn't a strong play usually, especially up against what usually is a solid D.

I'm still nervous as hell with this game. Up by 8 against 49ers D. A 49ers defensive touchdown would likely give him the win. I fear Skelton is going to drop back and get destroyed and fumble one of these plays.

Down by 2 right now. Need a Bowman sack, but he hasn't really done much. 1 tackle and 1 sack so far.

0-3 in my three leagues last week to 3-0 this week. I love fantasy football and hate bad bye week management. Still in the playoffs in all three leagues at the moment, so quite pleased so far this year.

My team was projected to lose this past week by about 30 points. Then Titus Young, Brandon Llyod and Trent Richardson all had big games. I ended up losing by 2 points. Have to say the reason I lost was because of Aaron Rodgers. He only put up 13 points, he also had a fumble that was -2 points. I could've at least had a tie, or if he played to his potential then I should have won.

Now I have lost 2 in a row and sit at 6-2.

I'm pretty deep at RB so I'm trying to swing a deal to land a star WR.

I've been offered WR Dez Bryant and RB D. Brown (Ind) for RB A. Morris. I'm reluctant to give up Morris but Dez could be good long term.

I've also offered RB A. Morris and WR J. Maclin to another team for WR A.J. Green and RB Kendall Hunter.

I'm hoping that the trade for AJ goes through but if not, should I accept the Dez trade??

I don't like nor trust anything related to the Cowboys offense, so maybe I'm biased. But I shop around guys like Morris and Dwyer to find a different WR, especially to see what kind of WR people are willing to give up for those kinds of RB before I'd accept the Dez offer.

Hey Syl, would you consider trading Jamaal Charles right now, or do you think he'll be an A+ player more or less the rest of the year?

Just offered a trade to someone & one of the pieces on my end was DeMarco Murray, but with him back soon I wonder if I should've offered Charles instead, given his totals the past 3 weeks. I can always cancel it & sub in Charles for Murray..

Well here's the issue. The Chiefs are constantly behind in games, more or less forces them to abandon their game plan early. Charles really isn't a big part of their passing game for whatever reason. When the Chiefs have been getting touch downs...it tends to be later in the game when guys like Charles are already on the side lines. Plus there is always health risk with Charles, where if he takes a big hit, or bumps that knee...there really is no reason to put him back in the game.

So yeah, you might be better off to hang with Murray...although I'm not a huge fan of his either, I don't like his durability. Maybe snag your boy Pierre Thomas from someone.

f'in Jordy Nelson.. He was GTD ( bc of a Hamstring issue) to start so I put him back in the lineup. He hurts his ankle in the 1Q... FML!

I have a 70 point lead but my opponent has Vick, Desean Jackson, and Celek going against the Saints defence....I only have Jeremy Maclin left to play. Normally I'd say I have it in the bag, but that Saints defence gives up 85 fantasy points against every week.
