Default Outerwear you wear

I'm not a watch man, but I am a jacket man. Recently, I was given this beauty, and I will now wear nothing else.

How about you? Anyone into jackets?

Picked these two up recently

The shearling collar is removable, I tend to wear it without.

And this leather jacket is getting a lot of wear

For the snow side of things I have this guy:

I've used it for snow boarding, ice fishing, field work in the mountains and walking around a windy prairie city in the winter time. No complaints, great jacket.

Figured this would be a good thread to ask.

What are some good all around winter boots to consider? Something that works equally well for urban/work situations (ie looks acceptable for a meeting), that you can drive it, and still does the job from a utility standpoint (ie, can wear in sloppy snow and on ice).

I have some leather boots that look nice, but are pretty useless as they slip all over the place when the surface is anything but dry sidewalk. However I'm not sure if I really want to make the jump to the other extreme and walk around in Sorels all day.

I think those Moose Knuckle (lol, awesome name) jackets look pretty nice. I think Canada Goose is the LV purse or Burberry scarf equivalent of jackets. So many people have one that it's pretty generic looking now.

Someone needs to specify if this is technical outerwear you're talking about or normal outerwear.

Alden boots with a commando sole. Preferably in shell. Not cheap but will last you decades.

I'm into sweaters for some odd reason. Like sweaters you'd find at Value Village, not the Bay.

These look great, but are they slippery? I have something similar looking to the top one, and the sole is crazy slippery on ice, rendering it useless.

Has anyone ever re-soled a boot? Wonder if that's an option.
