I can't grow a beard/moustache to save my life. But as YYC said, I'll be growing my pubes out during Movember. It's the least I can do.

I'm planning on putting up posters around my current place of work featuring my m'stache from last season, in attempt to generate humor/sympathy donations.
Even if you raise $100 it's helping.

Do you just sign up for it on Movember.ca?

Do some of you guys just do it because its ok in November, or do you do it to raise money? If you do it to raise money, how do you go about doing that?

Yup. You get a personalized url to give people, making it easy to donate.
You can collect cash donations as well, but I've found it easier to have people donate online.

What one are you?

Spoiler!

I am back for my fourth year, and first representing in the UK. No silly oil and gas facial hair regulations this year so I am going to attempt the full handlebar. The blond patches might have something to say about this though.

If anyone wants to register, the address is

It's a fantastic campaign to raise awareness for mens health, including prostate cancer and mental illness.
It may "raise awareness" but you will notice it does nothing to actually cure or help others with these illnesses. Go to university and become a doctor. That will do more than a meaningless campaign will.

Cool. I'll remember to tell that to cancer survivors who fundraise for research.

Yeah you're right. Raising money for cancer research is pointless!

Ill cut you some slack since youre a fellow Chelsea fan.

But seriously. All those millions that are raised by charities dont go to research. If you guys believe that, then you are very naive about the world.

Depends entirely on which charity it is. Also I don't expect the employees of charities to work for free so obviously some of that money has to be used to give competitive wages to keep the best available employees (within reason of course).

Sorry that post was meant to make fun of the whiner complaining about people giving money to charity.

Maybe he is right, maybe we should never raise money or collect donations for anything ever again. Hmmm, no, never mind.

Shameless plug: http://mobro.co/codywatson

Given that there are quite of few of us CPers participating I’d be willing to do a “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine” deal.

You are on a fast track to earn your custom user tittle, `Lifetime Suspension`.

Don`t listen to the troll, this is a very important cause and if all it does is make people ask, why are you growing a mustache? Then you have already been successful before raising a cent.
