Problem is, i can't seem to get my DLink to work properly....maybe something to do with the setup. I can see the Internet symbol flickering but i cannot connect through wireless connection. I remember reading something about connecting a third party wireless router to Cisco modem but can't seem to find it now. Does anyone have any success using DLink wireless router with Cisco modem (bridge-mode)? Is there anything i need to change on my DLink router such as changing the IP or whatever.
Thanks.

First thing to check is that your DLink is getting a WAN IP address from Shaw. If memory serves, it will be a 192.x.x.x address, but your DNS IP will be a 70.x.x.x. Next thing to check is that your DLink is setup for DHCP and handing out addresses. Check this on your computer.
Honestly, 9 times out of 10 a hard boot on both devices (Shaw router first) usually fixes everything.
