This game is god awful. Last 4 drives
3 plays 7 yards
3 plays 2 yards
3 plays 5 years
3 plays -6 yards.

THursday night football is the worst idea the NFL has had in a long time.

Seriously, I just don't have much appetite for football on Thursday.

Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are football days.

If you're my age this is probably why you became a NFL fan. Before Madden for the Sega Genesis there was this

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...nfl-filmsstyle

I had the original, where you would go way back and have Montana heave a 80 yard pass to Jerry Rice, or run away from everyone with Bo Jackson.

But Christian Okoye in Super Tecmo Bowl is why I'm a Chiefs fan.

We used to play season after season of Super Tecmo Bowl. It was awesome.

DeAngelo Williams and Steven Jackson on the trade block.

Love it if the Broncos could pick up DeAngelo Williams. Willis has been running so strong and can really finish games for them in the 4th quarter, but he's not a running back who can handle a huge workload anymore, and the drop off after he comes out is huge.

Steven Jackson is actually still having a really good year, even if Richardson is starting to get more carries.

Nelson is out for the Packers today.

If your looking for a possible upset...look no further than GB/Jax

John Kuhn, Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Nick Perry, Charles Woodson, Sam Shields, Frank Zombo, Cedric Benson, DJ Smith, and Desmond Bishop...all starters in week 1 who are out today. Thats half the starting team.

Yikes.

I think the Packers will just be fine. They've actually run the ball alright the last few weeks, and I seem to believe that Rodgers has enough of a report with Jones and Cobb that the Packers offense will continue to roll. Sounds like Nelson is only being held out because of who the Packers are playing this week. Green Bay will be fine

I think the Packers will be fine too.

This game against the Saints tonight is scaring the hell out of me. I guess that means I still don't trust the Bronco defense. It will be interesting to see how they play against a guy like Brees who just doesn't stop coming.

The patriots are just not very good at defending anymore.

Holy, those Pittsburgh jerseys are some kind of awful today. They look like they should be in prison with them jerseys.

14-0 for the Falcons! Woohoo!

Why is the Eagles vs. Falcons game not televised? It's probably one of the more exciting matchups this week.

There is a Roethlisberger joke to be made here.

Because the Seahawks are the day game and we get Spokane FOX.
CTV is stupid, it just shows whatever the other channels are showing.
TSN is showing CFL and TSN2 is showing NASCAR.

GB may end up winning this game, but they look all out of sorts on offense in particular.

they have to get some guys back or simply put they will lose games down the stretch they can ill afford.

What the hell is with the jets anyhow? I knew they would be a bit of a circus this year, but they are quite frankly, a bad football team right now.
