If you saw my Turduken thread some friends and I had a good time over Thanksgiving drinking and making a turducken.

We've decided we're going to get together now and then to make some more things....hey, there's only so much to do other than the bars in Fort Mac!

Next week we're going to do a Beef Wellington - the guy who has a hankerin' for it is away this weekend so that's why we're waiting.

Looking for other fun, delicious, and difficult things to make. Any ideas?

I came up with this one,coq au vin, with a google search and it's one possibility as it says it's difficult but it really doesn't take very long.

It's easy to make, but Schnitzel is good. Could be a fun time smashing all the meat thin as a piece of paper.

I can recall being about 10 and the family, probably 15 or so assorted relatives, getting together to make sausages. Lots of drinking, lots of fun, no missing fingers, good times.
