Alright I've had this kitten for around 4 months (shes indoor, because i have an apartment) now over the last 2-3 weeks she has been stressing me out SO badly.
See I have to get up for school around 9ish, but around 6-630 every morning she wakes up and just starts to be ######ing evil.
I honestly don't know why, but she will jump on my bed, start circling my head and purr extremely loud and lick the top of my head to wake me up. As soon as I make a move - even just the slightest, she jumps off my bed and starts to yowl, if I ignore her, she repeats step A all over again.
Now I tried tossing her off the bed when she does that... almost a full on push... well I did that 18 times this morning and she just keeps jumping back on, or yowling.
Now - Why she is yowling or doing this. I wish to god I knew. I check to make sure she has food, yep plenty, water, check I make sure this is all good before I goto sleep in the hopes she wont do this.
As for her? Well she will continue to be annoying until she is satasfied her needs are met. 3 days ago she actually spiked a full glass of water (litterally a jumping-punch) because I wasn't dealing with her (while asleep). And she will continue to be an absolute sh*thead like jumping and knocking other objects around.
Any advice on what to do would be helpful - I cannot continue almost biting through my lip at 6am when being woken up - I am not one to hit or abuse the cat in any way (not that I think it would do any good, I mean tossing her off the bed probably forceful enough for a little kitten).

Awww... sounds like she maybe just wants a heckuva lot of attention. Not really sure what you should do. What I do when my cat bugs me while I'm sleeping is just hug her and not let her go, or trap her under the covers. Eventually she gets bored of being forcibly confined but she can't complain of lack of attention so she happily leaves when she gets the chance.

Well, according to many an animal "psychologist", pets (and cats in particular) see their humans as their parents. Literally.
Its not unusual for a child to do similar things when waking up in the AM than what you are describing. They want your attention. Actually they demand it.
As for a prescribed solution? IF you are able, try and get the cat sleeping somewhat the same hours as you do, though this can be damn near impossible as they are nocturnal by nature and love sleeping about 3/4 of the day as is. However, if you can devote some time to trying to make sure the little one doesnt sleep all day, you may find it more willing to sleep through the night with you.
This is likely no more than a phase the cat is going through, and could correct itself in a while as well. Be patient and realize the cat isnt doing this to "harass" you only. They aren't THAT smart to think outside the box that way. Time will tell...give it some.

Well its not like I plan to get rid of her or anything... I think she has to at least attempt to take my life before I do that.
I have tried to get her sleeping the same hrs, from 12-6 shes sleeping away just fine. I guess I could try tiring her out with the laser pointer before bed, maybe that will get me a few extra hrs (she really is stubborn when it comes to that, she chases it until there is full on wheezing from exhaustion.).

Quite normal.
I have a five month old kitten doing that very same thing every morning at 5, bounding onto the bed, brushing my hands and head. I go along with the flow for about 15 minutes or so and the tyke then settles down beside me and starts to snooze again.
I luv it!!! You've got a nice cat. Be happy about that.
Once they're adults, a normal cat will sleep 18 hours a day.

Don't sleep with it in your room?
I hate having a cat in my room, it's so infuriating! A dog I'm fine with but man cats can be annoying.

I've lived with 3 cats over 20 years of my life, had a cat beside me for just about every day. It's just natural for me to have a cat in my room - seriously I feel better at night with a cat beside me.
See the only thing is cow, she wont go back to sleep with me!! I shouldn't be up at 8am posting this on a saturday morning!! Shes still bouncing around lol.

It'll all be over in about three months, the jumpiness and energy will die down.
I had a cat that would wake me up about 4 a.m. every night for YEARS. I'm a spotty sleeper anyway so it didn't bother me much and, he was the greatest cat in the history of the world so that made it easier to take.
Funny thing - a friend in Toronto with TWO new kittens e-mailed me yesterday with the same story as yours.
My only advice, go with the flow. Or shut the door as someone else said.

I have a 5 year old cat that wakes me up almost every morning at 4:30 am. She does the same thing - paces around my head, raspy 'meows', licking, and really loud purring. If I ignore her, she will start scraping her claws lightly across my forehead, and if I keep ignoring her, she'll do it hard.
I have tried different things to try and break this habbit, and the only thing I find that works at least some of the time is to bring her to bed with me when I first go to sleep. I find that she tends to sleep through the night that way. It seems that when she wakes up in a different room alone, then she wants to go wake someone up.

Well if the cat is around 6 months old it could be starting to go through heat. Cats get friendlier during that time, if you've noticed it scratching at the outside doors this is probably what it is.

Yeah, our female cat started acting weird around 6 or 8 months, then a few days later she was letting out sounds we haven't heard before or since.
We took her in the next day to get spayed.
Both of our indoor cats are great...no crying/caterwalling. Mind you they're adults, but no behavioural issues. However who knows if we've messed them now in the last 4 weeks since we've had our puppy. They aren't taking to her at all yet, and have to somewhat seperate them so that the puppy doesn't (goodheartedly) terroize them like she seems to want to.

One of my cats will wake my mother up at 5:30 every morning, just for attention. She does this by licking my moms eyelids. I doubt the cat will stop, so just keep throwing it off the bed, that's what I do when they bug me. Eventually my two will give up and go somewhere else.

Don't think that she won't try it. She's probably planning it as we speak...Cats are minions of Satan.

I agree with a couple of the other posters - sounds like she could be in heat. Has she been spayed. If not maybe look at doing that. And as an extra bonus Bob Barker will be very pleased with you.

Yeah to answer all your questions... she has been spayed. I got her when she was 11 weeks old, the day of her spaying if you can beleive it - but thats how the SPCA does it, cats have to be spayed before they leave there.
Also declawing, well the SPCA considers it inhumane to declaw and actually make you sign a contract not to declaw the cat (since it is considered amputation of the entire knuckle), not like I have any good furnature anyways.

I heard it could make them wicked too. We thought about it when one of our cats started scratching the stair rug but after talking to a vet we decided to just put blankets over the stairs before going to bed. I think the reason he's doing it is because he wants outside but after having two of our cats killed by cars we wont let neither of our cats we adopted out. Our other cat is scared to even go by the door.

Nice of you to get it from the SPCA. Wish more people did that. I was joking about the declawing thing though, guess I should have thrown in a emoticon.

Going there is one of the most depressing places in the city... you see all these cats (especially adult ones) who have no home.

I got mine from the SPCA too, but not after she had been spayed. I did have to promise to bring her back in, which I did, and they spayed her for free.
