That is a really interesting concept, but I don't know if playing 15+ games of Risk with a few twists thrown in is really something I would like to endure.

TI3 is good, but long. What other options do we have?
We could also play something shorter, but play a couple times.
Between Aeneas and I, and all of you, I think we have copies of most of the top games. I'd like to play T13 every 2-3 months, and play shorter games normally.
I also likely have access to Decent and Runewars, both of which would be good candidates, depending on the day we would be playing, my group is heavily into the Ameritrash style.
RoboRally and Game of Thrones seem good, I have been really intrigued by both since I have heard of them

I played the free to play one on Steam and it was quite fun. I would think playing a human would be much more enjoyable though.
BattleLore is much better than Memoir '44, IMO, and is designed by the same guy using a similar coloured dice system. It has a lot of expansions that are out of print now, though, and is no longer supported after being sold to FFG. It's a mix of fantasy races (goblins, dwarves, and larger monsters), and humans (knights, crossbowmen, etc.) and I play it a ton (even going so far as to build a 3D board out of wood that I haven't quite finished yet).
Maybe my judgement is clouded some because when it comes to "wargame-light" games, I prefer a fantasy setting, and I also prefer the variety in units in BattleLore to the fairly redundant feeling I get in Memoir. Memoir has a lot more support now, though, with campaign books, etc., so that's one thing in its favour, but, personally, if I want a WW2 theme, I'd rather seeming deeper.
I have a difficult choice. Which game should I get?
- Mage Knight
- Defenders of the Realm
- Mice and Mystics
- Claustrophobia
All are supposed to be fantastic games (Mice and Mystics isn't out just yet but I have high hopes!) and I'd surely enjoy them all.

I was in the UK in the summer looking for gifts in a toy store and saw it, my son is on the younger side but I took a chance and he loves it. Now adding the stands, lights, and all that, that is great! How did you move around the that stuff to play the game?

We usually played on a pool table. Had to lean in and around the extra stuff.
I suppose we did not usually have all the accessories out.
