It's really fun to look at some of these and wonder what the hell people are thinking. Miami might be the best team in the AFC East and they're getting points against the Jets? And yet people are still taking the Jets.
That being said, I think the books are going to get killed on the Cowboys/Giants game. They had to set the line low because the Cowboys are at home and beat New York in week 1, but the Giants are a much better team.
|
And Dallas is a very poor home team. I don't have the numbers in front of me but since the new stadium opened, they are something like 12-20 at home.

So was it Detroit +6.5 to get you the back door cover?

Ah Detroit shot themselves in the foot! 3 redzone turnovers! Yes sports select was unfortunately +5.5. Congrats RTTR on the pools win! Hopefully its a decent payout!

Crappy deal on the sportselect cover, I hedged my bets on this game though and bet Detroit on moneyline so either way I was winning something. I just hope I win enough on pools to cover my loss on the Lions

Love those picks
On another note it's funny that despite going 23-2 in pools and other bets the last 2 weeks im down $200
Question for you, do you ever play a combo play on sportsinteraction? Is it even possible?

The only thing I got going for me this year is I haven't lost money.
I made a mistake on my Chicago pick it was -5.5 not -6.5 so ended up going 5-4 this weekend to basically break even.
So far this week...
MIN -6.5
MIA +2.5
WAS +5
SEA +2.5
SEA/DET Over 43
PHI -2.5
NYG -1

So by playing it safe...you cost yourself a lot of money.
If you want to gamble...you have to go all in.
If you expect to make money gambling...you hedge your bets.

Not really sure what that is. I don't play government games.

Rube, I think he is speaking of the sportsinteraction (website I use), not sportsaction (BCLC).

Yes you can play combo's (parlays) on sportsinteraction. I use to play them all the time when betting MLB.
You can also do Round Robin and Teasers with Sportsinteraction.
If he means Sportsaction (BCLC) then you can only do combo's through them (min. 2 game bets).

Correct, did some checking and I was referring to the round robin. Like I said I've done well on straight up picking winners I think it's time to explore other gambling options.

Round Robin is something I would use with MLB betting when I would pick an underdog but didn't want my parlay to rely on it so it gives you an out. The problem if it is it can cost ya quickly with 2 wrong picks (well I guess it depends on the robin round you use) so you gotta keep that in mind. But if you hit all your bets in a round robin of 4+ games you are hitting a pretty nice payout.
