since his forte is supposed to be his faceoffs I will note that DeBlouw has improved in the circle in each of his 3 games. He went 8 for 18 in game 1, 10 for 18 in game 2 and 9 for 13 tonight, bringing him to 55.1% after 3 games.

Anyone no why Howse hasn't been playing? Benched or injured? I assume the former.

I remember when Howse was once looked upon as one of our best prospects. So glad that Feaster has restocked the pool in his short time here.

I was just going to ask about Granlund. Before you posted this I wasn't going to ask what was up with him because he's clearly not on the same point producing level he was at last season.

It's gonna be tough, I don't think there is much help for Markus offensively on that team without his brother on the team.

Jankowski and Gillies have just started against Miami, does anyone have a decent live score update/audio/video feed?
This is all I've got at the moment... http://www.collegehockeynews.com/box/livebox.php?vc=prv&hc=mia

They have a twitter feed that updates fairly quickly. There's also a live score feed I was watching during their first game that was really good, I'll try to find it.

update: Gaudreau assists on the 3-0 goal. 5 SOG after 2 periods

I wouldn't read too much into his stats this early in the season, and in any case 8 points in 14 games isn't terrible from a 19-year-old.

If you want to see Granlund hit the post on an open net, plus the breakaway goal, plus a couple of assists, plus some Ortio, here's the highlights from the latest game (MaG is number 11):

For some reason I completely forgot Gillies was a Freshman, this makes him play even more exciting.
