I should be working right now, but instead I've been browsing cars all morning....so I figure I should waste some more time.
Scenario: You magically have a 5 car garage, an extremely understanding spouse, and unlimited budget. What would you fill it with? These are the only cars you are allowed to have for the whole year.
Here's mine.
Porsche 911 - up to '89.
Obvious dream car is obvious, but this is the marquee that made me love cars. Lots of great years out there, but there's something special about those earlier generations.
Bmw CS 3.0
Remember when BMW's weren't being driven around by cocky aholes? Neither can I, but man were they ever beautiful. I'd also take anything up till the mid 90s.
Ferrari 308
I love 70's Italian cars, and and every garage needs an italian sex machine at some point. There are about 10 cars I could put here instead of this (Espada, early Esprit, Mangusta) but this is one I remember most fondly from my childhood, so it wins. Plus my real name is Tom. This car was driven by a Tom. What more do you need to justify the last truly beautiful Ferrari ever made?
Porsche 928
I'm going to need something for those times when I just want to cruise the streets for cocaine. The Shark is one car I wouldn't mind snorting up nose. Was also drive by a Tom so that can't hurt.
Toyota Landcruiser FJ40
And finally, I'll need a simple and reliable vehicle when the others break down. That pickup in the back would also be a good choice.
Can you tell I'm a child of the 80s? I could easily add about 10 cars to this list, but there's something good about having to edit it down.
Your turn.

filling a 5 car garage.... i accept your challenge.
first things first - the only way my wife would go for it is if i got a car for her FIRST.... she loves the mustangs from the late 60's - and it would have to be blue......
and then onto the 4 toys for me....
without a doubt...
and then something a little more modern....
i'd definitely want an old chevy to go bombing around okanagan logging roads/hills ..
and then i'd absolutely want to keep my current truck after all the work, time and $$ i've dumped into it (i get it back in a couple weeks with a shiny new coat of paint!! soooo pumped!!)

Ha, smart strategy! Spoken from someone with life experience I'm sure. I'm still on the "it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission" strategy.
Nice Mustang btw. A fastback would be pretty nice too.

Not to be the guy who poo-poos someone else's opinion, but I've had the chance to drive the California, and it's kind of a fat pig. And according to the Italian I was driving with "it was made for the womens".
The 458 on the other hand is an stupendously awesome. That's the one you want.

Highly unlikely I'll ever drive, let alone own, either of them. Had to go by looks, and the California is a slick looking ride
Not a car guy at all, so apologies if some of these are uninspired.
Early 90's Dodge Viper
-This was the car for my ten year old brother and I. I think there was some Viper show that I found out later was filmed in Calgary. This car is still a car I want to own some day.
Spoiler!
2003 Mini Cooper
-Probably because of the Italian Job. These cars are seriously fun to drive. As a 6'4 guy I always get The Simpsons "the size of my automobile" vibe but I just really love these things.

The Ecto One
-I mean, how cool would that be!
Spoiler!
An early 50's Cadillac
-Just a classic car that would be fun to take out for a drive. Just a drive, no reason to go anywhere.. just drive. I suppose we'll we're out the gal and I will stop for a malt.
Spoiler!
And the Ford f150
-The perfect truck IMO, not too gaudy but does the job and then some. It's the most popular truck in North America for a reason.

1962 Corvette Fuelie convertible - 360 HP of sex on wheels.
2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS. Drives like a dream (or so I've read).
2013 Range Rover Sport - need a daily driver, of course!
2013 Ford F-150 crew cab - for hunting and hauling stuff.
1955 Triumph TR5 Trophy...I can't even ride a bike but would learn just to get on top of this bad boy. This is the same style owned by James Dean when he died.
