holy christ. Again, keeping on scoring isn't the same as going trying to convert on 4th down up 35 points.
If they're handing the ball off to the back and he's not getting stopped, then whatever. Going for it on 4th is what you do when you're losing late, not when you're up by 35. THAT individual act was a complete dick move, regardless of what followed it. I CANNOT express this anymore simply to you. So if you continue to reference the fact that they pulled their starters in the second, there's really no more to say.
You miss the entire point. Going for it on 4th is what you do when you want to kill the clock. They were killing the clock before and after that. All they were doing was reducing plays. That's the part you don't get. You apply a very simple "if you go on 4th your a dick" without even thinking that maybe the Ducks HC maybe knows more than you.
Just in case that didn't make sense I'm going to word it another way. Going for it on 4th was not about running up the score. He didn't care about the score at that point, he was in his words many times prior 'managing the game'. I presume you think a dick move is running up the score, going for it on 4th is NOT running up the score. That's the disconnect you aren't picking up on.
If neither of those two paragraphs mean anything to you then I can't help you.
What do ya know? They put the kid from Kalispell in at QB and Montana's offense starts to look like what I'm used to seeing.

tight, tight game and massive win for Michigan over MSU. It took the leg of the kicker on the last play but i'll take the win. This game was all D on both sides 12-10.
I hope nobody was dumb enough to take Kansas and the 36 points today.
A lot of talk about that spread locally, its 45-0 with half the game to go. It will be hard for Oklahoma not to score 70 against this team.

TJ Yeldon is a stud. I was a little worried when he was recruited since he doesn't have that battering ram body that the heavily used Bama backs usually do ... but man is he shifty.
What is this stupid thing that players are doing where they pretend to be eating with a spoon or some crap? I've seen it happen now in 3 different games today. There has to be something better to celebrate with other than miming that you're eating some soup.
They're all angling for that elusive Chunky Soup endorsement deal.
Seriously, it means "Keep feeding me.". Keep giving them the ball, etc.
ya thats right. I think Robinson started it? It means "keep feeding me stay hungry" Robinson said its suppose tobe eating cereal. First time I noticed was last year MICH vs NEB. I'ts pretty silly.
The coaches actually use it as a play call now. The OSU game is when it really started the trend i guess.
Even though i'm a MICH fan I can't believe that someone actually made this.

Kid can't play defense too! (of course neither can anyone on that team!)

Robinson definitely didn't start that, I remember seeing guys doing that in the late 80's and early 90's.
Location: Wondering when # became hashtag and not a number sign.
Exp:
"Tyrann Mathieu and three other former LSU football players were arrested Thursday on drug-related charges.
Mathieu and former LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson were charged with simple possession of marijuana, the Baton Rouge police department stated in a release.
Former Tigers safety Karnell Hatcher also was charged with simple possession while former defensive back Derrick Bryant was arrested for possession with intent to distribute."
no wonder why Les left Jefferson in the game last year. He was high as a kite with him.
