Here's a forum for chip nerds: http://www.chiptalk.net/

You should be able to find some good info there.

Any suggestions on how to make it a tad safer for my Son?

I have a movie pass that expires on Oct.19...so does that mean I can use it on the 19th? It's apparently impossible to talk to a person at a movie theatre over the phone.

Pretty sure since 2008 it's illegal in Canada to have an expiration date on gift cards/certificates.

I have a car that gets little use (average 6,000 km a year). Although I have the dealer's oil-change package so I don't pay, is there an oil that can be safely used in both winter and summer? I've always changed the oil twice a year but wonder if I should continue doing that.

Beware of greasy mechanics who do your oil changes

full synthetic is fine in any temperature, and far better for your vehicle when we get below -10

You have to be careful about that. It only applies if the card/certificate has a specific face value and can be used towards the cost of any purchase.

If you have a voucher that is good for one movie admission, it can have an expiration date. If you have a voucher with a face value of $12 that can be used for any purchase at the theatre, it can't have an expiration date.

Companies can choose not to enforce their expiration dates for customer goodwill, but there are plenty of sneaky ways that companies can still get around the regulations if they want.

The worst offenders are the prepaid credit cards that have a decaying balance if you don't use them. It just seems downright criminal.

Just supervise him in the bath. He'll be fine.

Anyone know of a Shredding Company that will take boxes of documents for shredding for a somewhat reasonable price?

I recently found out that Mrs Rathji has just been putting our shredding into a bin for the past few years, rather than shredding it, and I am not looking forward to running it through for hours at a time.

Anyone know a little about Tylenol 3? I took some this week for a hand injury and have found that I'm ALWAYS thirsty no matter how much water I drink and just feel zombie like lately. I stopped taking them on Friday but am still feeling this way today. Is this normal or should I go see a doctor?

This was my first time taking Tylenol 3.
