I think if the date was a disaster he'd (wisely) come in here and lie all about it, say it was wicked awesome and hope this thread (or the other one to be more exact) would disappear over time. I'd be surprised if he actually acknowledges if the date was a disaster (or didn't happen), because that makes his initial thread look awful.

Actually, I expect his answer to be some variation of "It wasn't her, it was me".

Still not as creepy as the time Rerun kept harassing the female posters on this site to post pics of themselves, including one post which was just him chanting one of the posters' names repeatedly.

Why is my thread creepy? Jamoro created a thread where he tells everyone that a girl came up to him out of the blue and gave him her phone number and they are going out on a date the next night.... and then he leaves everyone hanging...

nada... zippo... zilch... not a word about what happened and not a word about anything esle from him since.

You could have kept in in that thread instead of creating a new one to call him out.

Definitely creepy.

If I ever have a date, there are two things I'll never do: announce it on a message forum and tell my wife. Nothing good can come of either.

Maybe its me, but I actually don't give a flying #### about Jamoro's life. If he went out, had a great night and took the girl on a ride to pound town, awesome, good for him...I don't care. If he went out and got a glass of wine thrown in his face, not very awesome, embarassing for him...I still don't care.

The creepyness comes from both a) starting a new thread to get answers about his date and b) actually caring about the details of anothers life in any way. I'm sure Jamoro is a nice guy and all, but his life is his life. I have other concerns/interests, as do most other people. Starting a seperate thread to prod for details into someone else's personal life is, well, creepy.

And if you're going to suggest then why did he make the thread in the first place if he wasn't going to keep us updated, well...I thought his initial thread was pointless and could only lead to bad things anyways. So preaching to the choir there.

for the record, i'd also be open to seeing pictures of the female contributors; however, i will not be making a campaign video.

This one was a request in the "Post your mugshot thread"... nothing creepy about that... all in good fun. Tons of people posted their pics in this thread.

http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showpos...&postcount=269

Just kidding around as were others...

again... just kidding around as were others who posted the same thing.
This definitely was not "harrassing" as you put it...

Just teasing him.... especially since he's been so public with all his women problems, in numerous threads.

Wow... talk about getting your panties in a knot over trivial stuff. When did this forum become so serious where a little joking around was now "creepy"

Yeah there's definitely some Serious Sam's around here. If you don't think a thread is worth your time then dont go in. But don't write a 3 paragraph essay (which probably took 5-15 min to type up ironically) explaining why you dont care. We dont care that you dont care. Some people spend hours a day on this forum, is it really that odd that people are interested in each others personal lives? Especially when theyre the ones who offer it up.
