Default Paramount Chinook Center Evacuated

I just got back home after watching 3 previews before V for Vendetta. After which all theatres were evacuated. I'm kinda ****ed since I spent 10$ on a ticket and saw nothing... does anyone know what happened?

If you still have your tickets bring them back and get a pass or a refund.

The evacuation could be anything. But when you have 16 projectors and one IMAX, and a 17 year old kid, making $7.50H running them. Things are bound to go wrong.

Each projector (for a 2 hour show) could power a normal home for a week or more.

I use to train kids to use them.

Or someone burnt the popcorn.

Do you think after evacuating at least 400 people at 11:00 at night that would be the first thing on their mind? We wern't even allowed back into the theatre.

Really? Thats funny because I was there for the 7:40 showing of V for Vendetta (which is an awesome movie) and I left around 10:30. There was nothing indicating an imminent evacuation at that time. Although I did fart as I was leaving, maybe that had something to do with it.

Yup, I was also at the 7:40 showing for V for Vendetta and didn't see anything leading to an evacuation.

I went to the 10:20 show. I checked my cell phone as we were evacuated and the time was 10:53.

Your first problem was that you actually spent the time to go see v for vendetta.

So 33 minutes after the start time, the movie hadn't even started yet? Typical.
Wasn't there a state in the US that was trying to have the ACTUAL MOVIE start time be the thing that was advertised.

I enjoy seeing the trialers for upcoming movies, but I HATE paying to see commercials before the movie. If they want to loop them between showings, fine. But when the movie listing says 10:20, I want the commercials to end at that time.
