Ugg so disappointing as this loss I will go 11/12 on pools picks today

Rodgers picked apart the coverage and the Texans D was all sorts of dumb with their penalties

This is a joke for Rodgers and the Packers offense.

Texans, Patriots, and the 49ers all lose today; Falcons and Ravens win, but they were ugly victories.

Who are the favorites at this point? Could it still be the Giants, who looked awfully good today in beating the Niners on the road?

I know i'm not out but woulda been nice to pick up the W tonight and then I could have bet 1000 on SD to hedge my bets

I have Denver for tomorrow so fingers crossed

But holy hell was it fun today, especially that Bills win

yeah i think a lot of people were on Arizona.. and on Houston so you might not be alone there.
Patriots was another one.. even SF although I think that's split 50/50

Cincinnati. Eagles. lots of upsets.

Best part on red zone today was ARZ hitting the uprights while at the same time Seattle throws a TD, went absolutely nuts!

Kinda like GB today after their loss last week. Hou-Bal should be a fun one.

Yes, I would have drafted luck over RGIII, as would I draft Barkeley over Geno, he played in a better system (overall for nfl qb) and seems to be the better polished qb.

If Barkley was gone I would take Geno but I'm not falling into the Cam Newton hype.

The sad thing is that Brandon Wheedon would likely be the best QB the Chiefs have had since Joe Montana. They've been able to dress up some three's as a nine by having other all pro players at other positions, and brilliant coaches. But right now they're offence looks a mess, and QB play is killing them. At least Wheedon has had a couple good games, and displays the type of athletic traits you expect from a NFL QB.

This exact line went through my head at one point during the game tonight. Simply put, the Texans looked like rookies in the national spotlight tonight, they came unglued once they got down early. They simply got outclassed by the Packers, that caught me by surprise.

The good news for them is, with the Patriots losing and the Ravens barely pulling out a squeaker, the AFC still looks wide open among the top tier. Can't wait for Ravens/Texans next week, kinda bummed that's just an 11am game.

What is wrong with him as a QB?

Outside of your made BS about USC of course.
The years Palmer put the Bengals in the playoffs was when they played easy schedules, and then promptly crapped the bed in the playoffs. I find it pretty funny that in the past you've crapped all over QBs like McNabb, Vick, etc., who meet or exceed the same criteria you provide for Palmer being a good QB. Palmer has had exactly two decent seasons as a starting QB.

Also liked how you avoided the Sanchez and Leinart examples.

Can anyone tell me who the best team in the league is right now? The Texans and Falcons both look like they've gotten fat off of weak opponents. The Niners just got spanked by a Giants team, who couldn't pull out wins against an average Eagles team and an awful Cowboys team. The Vikings got ragdolled by the Skins. The Packers have looked mediocre up until tonight. The Ravens have looked mediocre and are now best with injuries, but are probably still the best team in that division. I couldn't pick a Super Bowl favourite at the moment.

That being said, I think Andy Reid can officially start looking for a real estate agent. This team is garbage.

Was it another fumble or not?....its a clear and consistent pattern with him, regardless of the cause of that one. Its been his MO since he became an NFL QB...no hiding that fact. 85 career fumbles now , its atrocious for a guy whose job entails trying to protect the ball would you not agree?

Its a weird team in Philly...all the talent needed and yet they struggle over and over. I agree Reid is on his last legs.

As to the GB win...its huge but came with a terrible cost. Early reports have 3 starters on D out long term including 2 starting LB's in rookie Nick perry and DJ Smith...and that is going to reallly hurt with the Capers scheme relying on that position so heavily. That being said, they likely saved their season with the W. they do have 4 winnable games coming up in St Louis, Jacksonville, Arizona and a bye week before playing Detroit. IF they can go 4-0 in those, they will be OK for a PO spot i think.

Things are going to get murkier in the NFC before they get clear though...so many good teams.

Yeah the way the run D is playing, combined with the fact that Webb and Lewis are probably out with injuries, points to this being a good ol' fashioned Texas stomping.

The final four will be NYG, GB, NE and BAL.

Negative on Bal, they had some huge losses on D this weekend and their run D was exposed. If they have to play someone with a decent run game they are done.
