Anyone checked out Sportsnet World Online? I guess this is the evolution of premierleaguelivetv? Looks good with some archived games, not sure how long the games are archived.

I don't think this was a Liverpool FC thing - I believe it was Chang flying solo. For some reason he had become unbelievably paranoid about Duncan Jenkins and his behaviour was borderline demented.

Yeah, sounds like this guy is a bit unhinged.

I believe in the Jays.

That's hilarious, all the chat forums were completely convinced that Duncan was the only trusted source for getting info during the transfer window. I read what he had to say a number of times.
I bet Jen is feeling like a bit of an ass now.

Absolutely. Welsh were owning the Scots, mostly because of Bale.
Aaron Ramsey has awful finishing. Bale gifted him 3 times, only for him to squander. Now that I've seen Bale dive, I'm thinking he went down awfully easy for that penalty.

Maloney said he clipped him
http://www.goal.com/en-sg/news/3999/...fends-welshman
I thought he tripped over his own feet when I first saw it
The Wales thing is strange, with Bale/Ramsey/Allen they have a trio arguably better than any other borderline qualifying team in UEFA, yet all of the momentum they had with Speed (RIP) is basically gone

Manchester United consider shock Vidic sale amid Anzhi interest

I'm (gasp), comfortable for selling him for 40million. Before his injury, he was teh best defender in the world. Is he now? No. Can he be? that's the million dollar question/risk.
Buy another Bortmund stud in Hummels? Jones, and Evans don't do it for me as being the rock solid backmen that Rio/Vidic were.

That's from goal.com, so it's probably total BS.
But IF someone came along and threw 40m at you for Vidic, you do it. And that's coming from a United fan who really, really likes Vidic. And yes, Hummels would be a fantastic replacement, but the young core of Jones, Smalling and Evans is looking good too. They just have to stay healthy for a change ...

I dont think Dortmund are even remotely considering selling Hummels unless United would just pass that £40M right along to them.

That is amazing.
To be able to do that while running at full speed, with a defender pressuring you.

Apologies for posting this here. I just didn't think it would get much exposure in the Football League thread.
There is video within the article.
Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland assaulted by Leeds fan as Dave Jones brands opposition supporters 'vile animals'
Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones branded Leeds supporters “vile animals” and demanded they be banned from away grounds after seeing goalkeeper Chris Kirkland assaulted by a fan during 1-1 draw on Friday night.

John Terry remains Chelsea captain but is heavily fined

Chelsea and Leeds making the headlines for all the wrong reasons, just like the 1970s.

I'm just going to keep my Grant Holt shirt on all day now. Impressive win for Norwich today. They kept up with the Gunners all match and played some nice football. I do take exception with the 23-77 possession statistic in favour of Arsenal - it was much more balanced than that. But an important three points from an unlikely opponent.
