Not to defend them, but they are younger. Still, no excuse. Makes you like Jeter even more, even if I hate the Yankees. The guy simply brings it in the playoffs.

Sabathia with a big mistake not going to first there. The YOLOrioles somehow are still in this.

Well that's that. During the stretch run I was hoping for Baltimore to overtake the Yankees as I have no love for them (Yankees) whatsoever.
However, the term "YOLOrioles" makes be glad that they are gone.

Well that's disappointing. At least the Nats still have a chance to make it to the next round rather than the perennial contenders of the Yankees, Tigers, Cards, and Giants

Yes they are. Its very similar to the rights issues in Southern Ontario with the Leafs and potentially Hamilton. The A's are hoping Bud Selig and MLB will step in and they have been trying to come up with ways to get the A's to SJ. Long road ahead.

You have a strange definition of perennial to include the Tigers and Giants.

David Stern literally couldn't fix the NBA any better than this. Not suggesting it is at all, but this is literally the most insane round of playoffs I've maybe ever seen in any sport.

Baseball is like this, magic of the Cardinals.
You saw them do this in the World Series last year.

They sold their souls for this kinda run. It's hard to believe really. Although watch the Nats pull the miracle rally themselves.

Not even sure where I'd put this in all-time worst collapses in one game. It was 6-0 with six innings to go, so thats not implausible, but still this is pretty unreal. DC area sports with a devastating day.

As a die-hard Expos fan, I have no problem seeing this happen to DC. The Natitude marketing this year was just annoying and they have the worst beat writers in MLB.

#### you, Bud Selig. Go suck a bag of dicks Retire too. Your new MLB playoff format is purely garbage. St.Louis should be at home and now they are in the NLCS.

The best 4 storylines are all gone now. Doesn't leave to much left to be excited about. Not to play Debbie downer, but I thin both series could be over quickly.

Both the NLCS and ALCS look pretty evenly matched. Why do you think both series will be over quickly?
