When do appliances normally come on sale?
I'm going to be needing a new Range/Dishwasher/Fridge for the flip I'm working on in the next few months and figured I'd ask on here if anyone knows when they come on sale generally?
Thanks.

usually boxing day?!?
i don't really watch the prices that much, but with everything being so cut throat now i have a hard time believing you'd have to pay full price anywhere

Typically January. Few are buying appliances after dropping coin on Christmas.

I think sears has a sale on now for their stores closing out. Probably buying a new cooktop ourselves this weekend.

Find a Sears dealer store (not a big corporate location). They're more flexible I find.
I actually negotiated all of my appliance prices at a Sears dealer in Ontario 6 months before I needed them in Alberta. Entered an Alberta address as the shipping destination and only paid 5% tax. Because I wasn't taking delivery for 6 months, the dealer would let me call them at any time, before the delivery date, if I found a better price in a competitor flyer, and get my price adjusted down.
Twice now I've bought my full appliance package from Sears and saved a lot of money.
They can get you anything any of the big national brands make... check prices at Trail, Future Shop, Home Depot, Lowes, Brick, etc... and get Sears to price match and beat.
In my last two homes I've had the same brand mix... Samsung French Door Fridge, Bosch Dishwasher and GE Profile Dual Fuel Range. Seeing as this is for a flip, I'm guessing the models don't matter so long as they look shiny, lol.

Ordered this Kenmore Elite dishwasher from Sears and payed $799 reg "$1299" Kenmore Elite's are either Bosch (no heating element exposed) or Whirlpool (heating element exposed in the tub)
After doing some extra digging before it was shipped but payed for, I found out that Sears in the USA had been selling it for $1020 USD and was discontinued from them for almost 2 years now. I felt really ripped off. All they did was change the part number to a Canadian # that has no internet info and sell them as "just arrived" Canada has really high inflated prices on appliances I have found compared to the USA.
After doing more research and scrounging on the Sears Parts Direct website I found out it is the same dishwasher as the Bosch SHE55M15UC which trail sells that model of "Bosch for $ 1449 -$ 200 instate rebate (bosch has an instant rebate out until Nov = $ 1249 + gst = $ 1311.45" So with an extra 2 wash cycles, stainless control panel vs plastic with the Bosch, and a much nicer LCD panel $799 turned into a really good deal after all.
Random story that really has nothing to do with when appliances go on sale, But I thought about sharing anyway.

We did a lot of research last year at about the same time. We ended up buying from Sears due to their "Black Friday" sale. From what we were told, they were trying to push their "Black Friday" sales in Canada, so they dropped their prices to similar to what they do for Boxing Day. The best part about buying during the "Black Friday" was the 60 day guaranteed pricing. So, we got the prices of the sale when we bought it and then also the pricing during the Boxing day sale. At the end of the day, we saved about $400 from having the overlap of sales.
Lastly, the Sears warranty is awesome. If you don't use it, you get the money back.

We just bought appliances last week for our renovation and got a decent deal as it was just after the home show. It seemed that many places had "home show" deals - and it seemed like some of the sales were going until mid-October. (Which as I look at my watch, I realize that's about now, so my entire paragraph may not be any help to you!)

You get the money back in the form of Sears store credit, which you then can only use on a purchase that is at minimum double the cost of the credit which is given back to you.

You mean getting a free $500 tv by over paying by $1000 is not a good deal?

Yeah I just bought an induction range and got a pricematch (plus a bit more) off Sears' price, and am looking for a steam washer/dryer now and will probably do the same, Sears' current sale prices seem pretty good for higher end stuff, I haven't been able to find advertised prices lower at any rate.
Stupid appliances wearing out..

In my experience, appliances generally come on sale a week after you buy one.

That assumes Sears is still around when the warranty is over to give you a credit, which I wouldn't call a given.

i'm looking for a washer/dryer pair.
does anyone know if sears does delivery and setup?
My laundry closet only allows for the washer/dryer to be stacked (front load washers with stacking kit) and the space is super crowded that I'd rather not do the install myself. Plus my laundry room is on the 3rd floor of my townhouse.

They deliver, but they don't set up. I had to go buy some ductwork to install my dryer - wasn't expecting that.
