Here's a couple interesting tidbits from an article in the Province though:
Quote:
Heat coach Troy Ward will play the 5-foot-11, 187-pound winger [Baertschi] with Ben Street and Dustin Sylvester against the Peoria Rivermen tonight and Saturday.
Quote:
Glut of goalies: The Heat have three stoppers and you'd think Leland Irving, groomed to be Miikka Kiprusoff's backup, should play ahead of Danny Taylor and Barry Brust. But Taylor backstopped the Heat in the postseason and the NHL lockout has created a crease conundrum. "We're merit-based," said Ward, who wouldn't name his starter. "There's a lot that goes into it and Brust might be more capable than the other two we've got."

Elsewhere tonight, the Providence College Friars host Sacred Heart in their season-opener and the NCAA debuts of Flames 2012 picks Mark Jankowski and Jon Gillies.
Boston College plays on Saturday, as does the ECHL affiliate of the Flames and Heat, the Utah Grizzlies.
I got the AHL Live team pass during the playoffs. It was actually pretty good. Sometimes there's synching issues with the video and audio, but the picture quality is pretty good for a webcast.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
That would be awesome. Heard rumors that some feeds is just a camera pointed at the jumbotron.. really hope that isn't the case
Oh god that scares me. Hopefully not, the little bit of one game I watched last year it did not seem to be the case but its a pretty small sample space.
