This might be the most lenient site I've seen in regards to returning users. Most forums I frequent ban you instantly if/when they find out you have a dupe account. I don't mind giving people a 2nd or 3rd chance, but they should return under their original name.

Has anyone actually admitted anything?
I don't see the point of banning returning posters if they're somehow conclusively outed. If they're that bad of a poster, they'll screw up again and then you can drop the ban hammer anyways. Or maybe they matured a bit and can now be a good member.

If someone is banned and starts a duplicate account we will ban that account too. If a poster comes back with a new name it is because we have allowed it.

You guys should really let us know when the latter happens. I mean it was funny watching puckluck deny he was "Iginla" for so long but it's a little silly trying to keep the secret up, eventually it's going to come out.
