So weird. One night about a week ago, I was all set and prepared and even psyched to do some Act II runs. Got a few legendaries prior, which was fun because I've barely seen any legendaries in my time playing. Went to check on the status of some sales, put some new stuff up for sale, and suddenly decided to shut the game down. Haven't played in like a week since then.
Actually this pretty much happened a few weeks before 1.04 came out too. My brain confuses me sometimes...
Finally found a Jeweller's Plan (Perfect Star Topaz) last night after all this time. Unfortunately it was one of the only ones I already had (that one and the two leading up to it.)
How is everyone's Paragon levelling going? I am almost to 31 right now.... which I guess is about 8% of the way to completing all 100 levels.
Larger image of Paragon level experience requirements....
Spoiler!

You are typically far better off just to buy the gems themselves.
NOT including the cost of 537 tomes and 243 Flawless Square gems, it is 5 million to create a Perfect Star.
I have on many occasions seen them sell for less than 4 million. Heck I bought three Perfect Star emeralds for 3.4 million each recently. And the seller then lost an additional 15% off that, so they lost over 2 million each on them...
Crafting jewels is generally a money losing adventure.
Yay, found a Leoric's Signet yesterday. Usually spend an hour or so each day to look for it. Unfortunately it's a low roll, 21% exp, so I'll probably keep looking for another one.
That is still worth at least ~50 million FC. Good find!
By the way, with patch 1.0.5 coming, iLvl 63 ring and ammys will be dropping. This will devalue greatly the current "godly" rare rings in circulation. It might be worth dumping your existing rings/ammys and sitting on the cash for a while, then buy back at a significantly reduced rate. Or not... just a thought.

Problem with this is that everyone who's still playing knows that. jewellery isn't selling unless you massively undercut the prices. The bloody Tal Rasha's amulet isn't getting any bids either. Might as well tie it on Enchantress' neck
I hear you FoL. Not sure I would say "everyone" though. Informed players yes, but don't discount the others that see what they think are current bargains yet in no time will be overpayments.
This is like the FED on steroids. Things are worth less, and worth less and in no time will be worthless.
Man I still love this game eventho they absolutely effed up loot, characters, builds, story, AH, Act design etc etc I can look past that but what kills me you are gettin hit by melee monsters half screen away from you that just sucks...visuals do not match to whatever is laggin on their servers. this game was not only designed by ######s (hi Jay), it was also coded by ######s.

PS apparently monks wont be able to dogde reflect damage after patch haha
Heads up. As I mentioned before, Perfect Star gems cost 5 million (not including the cost of tomes or gems) to craft. Perfect Star emeralds are selling right now for ~3.3 million which is the lowest I have ever seen. If you are in the market for one or more, now seems a good time to get a bargain on them.
In preparation of 1.05 I've been trying to look at increasing my barb's survivability for the higher levels.
Easiest and most direct way seems to be increasing Life Steal, but that's also the most expensive. (My next upgrade currently planned is a socketed Echoing Fury with Life Steal but even the worst seem to be running up to 150M right now and I'm broke currently.)
So I've been looking at some other more thrifty options. The first one was stacking some extra life from health globes. I've got 20k+ currently so those red balls are pretty much instant full life and out of a nice happenstance it seems like 1.05 will change the bonus life to include potions as well.
The other attribute I've started chasing is Life Per Second. It's an attribute that usually isn't included in the price of an item when listed and I think most people consider it a "useless" random property when they roll it on something but once stacked I'm hoping it can become useful. I just really started targeting it and I'm in the process of selling my gear so I have the gold to buy their life regeneration counterparts but I'm thinking 3000 life per second is what I'm aiming for. I've currently got 1500 although I'm missing a chest piece (they can roll like 600) and I currently have crap rings/amulet as I sold my other ones thinking they'll be worth less in 1.05.
