Apparently Chinese troll salesmen being overly honest and hoping no one could read what the English actually said.

Ouch. Court overturns the Galaxy ban. Apple down to $628.
http://news.investors.com/technology...=yahoocp,yahoo
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit reversal is a win for Samsung and Google (GOOG), which supplies the Android mobile software for the phone. The lower court "abused its discretion" in the case, according to court documents.
Apple sued Samsung on Feb. 8 over alleged patent infringements. Apple says the Galaxy Nexus infringes on eight Apple patents. At issue in the appeal is just one patent, U.S. Patent No. 8,086,604, which is a "method for locating information in a network using a computer," according to the Thursday's ruling.

Wow. ipad marketshare now down to 52% from 69% last month. Not only that the numbers don't include the Google Nexus 7 tab, so it's prob under 50%.
Oh it also doesn't include the sales of the Kindle Fire HD either.

I havent been in DT Calgary in a year or so, but isnt there a gas station that the taxis use that would be behind the Bow in that picture? It was between the train tracks and the pub/hotel where Klein used to drink (which i think is now torn down).

I think if you go into the Play Store settings, you can make it enable auto-update on all apps when you download them, but I'm pretty sure it is off by default when you first set up your phone.

For most people, updating apps is hardly something they're aware of. For those who are, turning off the auto update function is a lot simpler than needing to input one's password every time they want to update apps.

This annoyed me the most about my iPod Touch. Every damn time I would update or download an app I would have to re-enter my password. I don't know if that can be changed, but I hated it.

Holy crap, only Fanin80 could be so obtuse about something. Vetting apps?? Is that a serious thing, who does that?
I'm not even going to quote his posts, it's too stupid. I don't automatically update my apps, I like to see what is being updated and do it myself every couple of days... but "vetting" them? Such an odd thing to say.
The only reason this is an issue for him, the ability to automatically update apps, is because Apple doesn't do this.

I use it on my phone, the results can be shockingly nice at times. This was taken with a two year old (running Android 4.1) Nexus S

Exactly, which is where the debate started. The silly Apple ad in the first place.

You don't need to enter your password in iOS6

I actually do. After Google made Dolphin remove the ability to save YouTube videos, I kept it sitting there bugging me to update for months until I got a new phone. Some stuff, like Maps or YouTube, I have on automatically update because I trust Google not to make me regret that. Other stuff I mostly check what changed before updating. But I know I'm weird, and I agree that auto update is a CHOICE people should have. But Apple does not particularly agree with choosing stuff. They'll do the choosing. You just buy it and like it.
