Well, sad to see Angie go for obvious reasons, but if I'm Denise that's the right move......if you sack Russell then you open up the possibility of Malcolm and Angie ganging up and booting her if they lose next time. Plus, keeping Russell helps keep that tribe somewhat stronger, although the possibility of them changing things up seems more likely after every show. The Matsing tribe is a mess. And I agree with the Penner/Kent duo being very strong...I like the way Kent has played so far, seems like he knows how to play the game.

There is no way Denise goes next, she's a very strong player in this game, she should go quite far. I get the feeling Skupin will not last long. You could see them hinting at it in last night's episode.

Yeah but things can change just like that. Last week Skupin was set for a long time and Penner was basically done if his team lost and not they have switched positions in one week.

Fair enough, they could have a new merge next week then everything goes out the window. But if everything stays status quo I like Denise's chances right now better compared to Skupin's.

Skupin seems like someone who will end up on that list of the stupid ways people accidentally kill themselves. The guy is a walking disaster. Has there been an episode yet where he hasn't injured himself in some way?

I'm guessing he trains with quick few seconds bursts to build bulk (high weight very low reps) but as soon as any activity uses some sort of muscle endurance he's done. By the time he swims out, dives and gets back to the platform his muscles are at exhaustion and can't pull himself up a ladder. Common issue with body building people I know. Get them away from the heavy weights and gym and out onto a field and they are about as useful as the comic book guy.

Ya the more muscle you have the more oxygen that is required to work those muscles. Someone who is lean and fit will do better in these challenges than someone who is big like Russell.
Even a big guy like james in the past, he could do the challenges but he was hurting twice as bad as anyone else at the end.

Just seems his MO is to talk a big game.....but nothing more.
I would be happy to see him gone.
I am pulling for Dennise

Russell wasn't the same player he was before. He seemed slower... older. He gave it 110% but it wasn't enough. I was rooting for him at the start, but as the show went on I started to get more and more annoyed with his attitude. Malcolm and Dennis are two very strong players, I really hope they can pull it out till the merge. You don't have to be first, just don't be last!
Spoiler in case you didn't watch the preview for next weeks episode:

I know, it is awesome.
As soon as he went on "perfection in god's image" rant, I nearly smashed my TV.
I was so very very happy he is gone.
I also must say for an older women Dennis has a slamming body.

The next person that I want gone is that Abi-Maria my god she is crazy, and not crazy in a good for TV way she is just crazy in an annoying way. I do love the way Pete is bringing chaos into his tribe, if he keeps his wits I think he has a decent shot at winning this game.

Last night was my Swan song. I honestly didn't remember Russell being this much of a whack job, or I wouldn't have taken him this time around. Oh well, go Jeff Kent!

I can think of some other players before her. She is good eye candy
It is interesting, because much of the focus of the show todate has been russell et al.

They did start to shift the focus this week more onto the other tribes, mind you it's probably because they are actually starting to play the game. You now have the Pete and Abi vs. RC, and then you have the men vs. the women on the Jeff Kent tribe.
Honestly the guys in Jeff Kents tribe kind of played that dumb, going out and plotting/fishing for a couple hours and leaving the women all alone to chat was a bad idea.
