Wow are those SF Giants ever lucky to be alive after one of the worst post season hitting performances of all time last night. Now suddenly the momentum is there's for the taking with the chance of Matt Cain going in Game 5. I still don't trust Barry Zito at all but if they win tonight, it gets crazy.
4 games today. Great day of baseball ahead

Pagan leads off with a home run, then Zito walks three batters. 1-1.
Put Lincecum in.
Blanco with a two run homerun. 3-1.
Ludwick (the love-child of Tom Hanks and Data) HR makes it 3-2.
I don't like this ballpark - cheap home runs.

To be fair, the Giants park might be the hardest and inflates pitchers good numbers. Latos has a horrible case of the flu and Cueto is gone for the playoffs, the Giants have caught a big break and with Cain going tomorrow, this is their series to lose.

Long homerun by Sandoval. 8-3 Giants, Top 7th.
If there is a game 5 it would be at 11:00 am Thursday.

The biggest moment in these MLB playoffs so far. A-Rod gets pinch hit for in the bottom of the 9th for Ibanez who hits the ball out of the park to tie it up. Incredible

A-Rod is the Tiger Woods of baseball for me, I just don't trust him to hit that big homer anymore when it really counts. Both him and Jeter pinch hit for this tight game.

Jeter got pulled after his last at bat due to injury it looks like. A-Rod is tough to figure out, this Yankees team is getting really old.

You're right, he did get hurt, although that was the first inning. Perhaps it was just too sore though.

He really was hobbled his last at bat. Yankees lineup is ugly right now but lots of power and that short porch. I think it'll be a homer that wins it on either side.

The funny thing is, I actually think the Orioles are the better team right now. Who even knows what that Yankees lineup is going to look like tomorrow now. Baltimore had a ton of luck, and even that's an understatement, to make it here, but they are much healthier and overall in better shape as a team then the Yankees are. 2 outs way and now they face elimination tomorrow. Phil Hughes going for them.
Latos vs Cain tomorrow in Cincy/SF. Sucks that we don't get to see an incredible pitching matchup in Cueto and Cain. Right now you have to like the Giants chances.
Detroit is up 2-0 and the Oakland offense looks dead again. Hate to see the weaker of the two teams and one that was outperformed all year by the other, win in 4 games but baseball is so tough to predict.
Cardinals can beat the Nats tomorrow and they have Kyle Lohse going, who I could totally see shutting down the Nationals and then giving us an entire offseason of Strasburg questioning and nothing but.

Amazing nobody can hit Orioles pitching except one guy!
Orioles retire 10 men in a row prior to the 1st Ibanez HR. Then they retire 8 men in a row prior to the 2nd Ibanez HR.

Stephen Drew might have just cost the A's their season. He hits a double with nobody out to score Crisp and decides to stretch it into a triple and is out by a freaking mile. Would have had a man on 2nd and nobody out down 2-1. For an offense like the A's, that really hurts

Not sure what the 3rd base coach was thinking waving him to 3rd. Theres still a lot of game left, and the A's definitely aren't out of it.

Crisp's 9 pitch at bat to get Scherzer out of the game was huge. I was much more comfortable with him pitching than the relievers we've seen so far.
