Bale has been jumping out of the way when he is sprinting and near a tackle for the last few years (ever since Adam broke his foot) and has been called a diver for it, I think those are debatable and is more a case of him trying not to get injured, he doesn't do it in the box trolling for pens
That one was a clear dive though and fully deserved the wanking motion Guzan starts at the end
Pardew wants the FA to look in to an RVP elbow on Cabaye
he had issues with Newcastle last year as well when he was with Arsenal, almost got in a fight with Krul IIRC
More of a straight arm backslap than an elbow that was milked bigtime by Cabaye. Having said that however it should have been a straight red as there was (albeit minimal) contact, it was clearly intentional and nowhere near the play. Don't know how he got away with it as it was right in Webb's field of vision. Strange ....
Having said that the game was over at the time of incident and if Pardew wants to call for retrospective action then Tiote should be up there also for his deliberate stamp that was missed also.

This doesn't make me sad. Never liked how he left struggling Burnley for struggling Bolton in 2010.
Owen Coyle is sacked by Bolton Wanderers
Bolton Wanderers have sacked manager Owen Coyle.
The Trotters, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, are 18th in the Championship after winning only three of their 10 matches.
On Saturday they were beaten 2-1 at fellow strugglers Millwall.
Coyle, 46, took over at Bolton in January 2010, six months after guiding Burnley to promotion to the Premier League and consequently signing a contract extension at Turf Moor.
The Trotters went on to survive a relegation battle while Burnley went down.

Isn't this pretty much the same thing Eduardo was doing after his leg was broken? I don't know if he will ever live down his "diver" label. Bale needs to be careful that he doesn't end up being known as a cheat, diver or flopper.
The FA really needs to start suspending players for this diving garbage, regardless of whether their "simulation" was caught by the refs or not (usually it isn't). When it can be shown conclusively on video that there was no contact, there should be an automatic one-match suspension. And then increase it by a game each subsequent time.

From what I have seen today most media people have said it looks like he was going to get smashed
every time he does get tackled he does stay down a *bit* too long, so he may just be soft, but ya the reputation will come
